The awkward moment when you open a box of Shapes only to glance down and realise you hit the "open other end"... end.

On the plus side, I got She & Him's Volume 3 (that's two CDs I've bought in, like, the last 3 months (the other of course being Bowie's Next Day) how novel!) and some rum today. Jamming those and playing some MK9, which I saw in stores for the first time today (but didn't buy because I had, of course, already imported it twice).

Saw Star Trek 2.

Sounds pretty sexy. Disappointed they're sticking with a plastic case and given the problems I (and a lot of others) have with this Asus-made one, I'm OK with sitting back a little and waiting.

Yeah, the new art style looked like it'd lend itself to toys really well. Been tempted to grab a Donatello when wandering through toy aisles with my nieces but I pretty much restrict what little toy buying I do to importing Japanese superheroes, which I've pretty much stopped doing as well (apart from preordering these two out of a sense of nostalgia). Need to save the rest of that disposable income for video games I'll possibly never get around to playing.

Really need to catch up on the show.
