Wait, people actually want these games?
people want good games...shocking
Wait, people actually want these games?
Have to say I dislike it when people ask extremely stupid questions they know the answer to just to express their snarkiness.
Bayonetta 2 yes, then with the money you make (if any) from selling it on the WiiU, you'll go ahead and port Bayonetta 2 Sigma to PS360. :lol
Why hasn't Gears of War Trilogy come to PS3? Why hasn't Shadow Complex come to PSN? Why hasn't Heavy Rain come to 360?so why can't same happen to bayonetta 2 down the road?
Which is the point I replied to. that is is not impossible like many claim because it has been done before.
Realistic expectation is it won't come for a long time if ever. but it can
Why would Nintendo do that?
Exactly. They weren't broke, they just decided to be smart and not risk their money on uncertain futures. You can pour money into a Sonic game and you'll almost definitely get a good return on investment. Or you can pour money into Madworld, Conduit, and House of the Dead: Overkill and lose all your money. I respect them for publishing those games, but noone bought them (well, except me).
Why would Nintendo do that?
These people should watch Mitsudomoe and get back to me.
Iwata is a spy sent in by Sony. Miyamoto is a robot built by Ballmer running on Milo's technology. It all makes sense.
The development team, not the publisher.

Because they totally can going by your logic.
Platinum doesn't own Bayo and probably tw101 either. The development team, not the publisher.

If Bayonetta didn't do well enough that Sega was willing to go forward with a sequel on its own, and Bayonetta 2 also doesn't do very well, it might be hard to find a publisher to fund another game that's like Bayonetta but isn't.I wonder if we will get a Demon's Souls situation where the developers move on to a Spiritual Sequel to Bayonetta? I guess it really depends on how many units is sells. The lower it is, the more reason the developers have to spin-off.
Nothing stopping them making an utterly new game that expands on all the cool Bayonetta stuff right?
Sega could have easily funded the development. They purchased relic for $28 million but chose not to fund Platinum games? Unbelievable.
There will never be a Mitsudomoe S3 for them to cancel. So they can cancel it again?
Sega is one of the publishers who actively profit off of RTS games, particularly with the successful Total War series. The acquisition was purely in their favor, as opposed to games they made with Platinum, all of which underperformed or practically bombed. Relic makes sense for them long term, Bayonetta 2 doesn't.
Why are people so opposed to owning a Nintendo console?
And who say it wont? Epic controls the gears IP and have said it many time its up to them whatever they want to do with it when it comes to gears. Difference here is that sega who is neither the dev/publisher owns the IP. Unlike epic who is the ip holder and the developer. Regardless.
I am not saying it WILL HAPPEN. I am saying it could happen. Like it has in past and could in future.
My reply was to people who are saying because its pub/funded that it has 0 chance. As long as Sega owns the IP. And none of us knows what the contractual was between sega and nintendo, then no one can say it one way or the other from information provided.
He's obvious bait-and-leave poster.Have to say I dislike it when people ask extremely stupid questions they know the answer to just to express their snarkiness.
I'm amazed at the amount of faith people have that both these games going to be great sellers or system sellers hell i want both but I honestly don't expect them to sell that well. Also 101 looks amazing think will be spending time at mates house to play it when its released
The question with Bayonetta 2 is 1) how long Nintendo holds the publishing rights and 2) do they own the code to the finished game or does Sega?

Ninja Gaiden 2 was published by Microsoft. What was the situation with Ninja Gaiden and the Xbox originally? Microsoft published it but the IP was Tecmo's? Just trying to see if we're going to have a Razor's Edge type situation with Bayo 2 especially when it bombs on Wii U.
The quicker Nintendo abandons the U and makes another console, the better.

B2 deserves t6o be a Wii-U exclusive. Hopefully the game will get the attention it deserves.
B1 got great critical reception but was marred and drowned by the launch problems of PS3 version of the game.
The only way this game would get Sony fanlove at this point is if it was a PS3 exclusive.
I'm hoping for success as we need more games like this coming out of Japan.

The Wii happened.
Also the Wii U isn't looking all that hot either, especially with new consoles around the corner.
Obvious to anybody with their head around game production. Unsure to the poor beggers.
Interested enough to post about it in this thread. You know how I deal with things other people care about that I don't? I ignore them...Unfortunately. Two titles I'm not that interested in.

Wat, explain yourself...first game sucked
no, the idiots happened

From the sound of it, they don't have control over Bayonetta 2 in general. If they did a "Bayonetta 2: Climax/Sigma/Razor's Edge Edition they would have to do that on their own dime from the ground up, which probably won't happen because it they would have just published Bayonetta 2 in the first place.
Microsoft let Mass Effect go multi platform because EA was going to publish all the sequels everywhere anyway and they probably paid a lot of money to Microsoft to do it.
Not accurate title. Bayonetta 2 and wonderful 101 to come to ps360 if nintendo allows it.
Ninja Gaiden 2 is an interesting one, it was published by MS on the 360 for a year, then publishing went to Tecmo, then the port happened. I think MS always had the distribution deal for NG2 on 360 though, even after the publishing deal changed.Ninja Gaiden was never published by Microsoft.
EDIT: Just saw you probably meant Gaiden II. I don't know anything about Gaiden II.
The only possibilities where MS got money out of EA are:
1) EA wanted to publish it on the 360 as well (that'd be stupid)
2) MS had the rights to publish on any platform, which is rather unlikely.
You just know someone out there will write that article.
A cry for attention, you got it.Wait, people actually want these games?
And another one.i mean, its bayonetta 2, first game sucked but for some reason it became important to Wii U owners,
