Bloomberg Poll: Hillary Clinton more unpopular than Donald Trump

Yet alot decided to stay home.

While many were idiotic enough to waste their vote on a 3rd party or just not vote at all, she still beat him in the popular vote. While others who voted Obama twice and had a favorable opinion of him ended up voting Trump. I think the blame is a lot less on dems and more on Hillary and her campaign at this point. She never was some crowning jewel, why act like she is?

This is exactly the kinda rhetoric that'll lead to a Trump reelection. It's best to learn our mistakes now instead of blaming everybody else for being wrong, no matter how wrong they were.

She was a terrible candidate to have run for president. She had a lot of baggage with being a woman, a Clinton, and a ridiculous long running right wing smear campaign because she is a woman and a Clinton. Though I did not personally like her, she was a much better choice than the rest.

Ya gotta love how "telling it like it is" is actually a losing strategy.

Margin of error.

Plus, who cares if people like him more than Clinton?

One isn't running the country, or going to be running against Trump come 2020.

People chose him over Clinton in many cases cause they hate Clinton. I think we already figured that out.

Republicans still like Trump and Democrats will never stop tearing each other apart. It's working out really well for us, I hope we keep it up.

I think this has some merit. The election was a fish in the barrel win, and the Democrats blew it worse that the Falcons. I wanted Hillary to win, too. We'd all be having a much better time than with Trump. But yeah, I think people just want her to stop at this point.

"BUT SEXISM!"

I mean, that probably plays a role, sure. But nobody can say seriously that it's the primary role. I mean, if that was the case, there was always Carly Fiorina and Michelle Bachman?

Stupid because you don't like it, or stupid because it holds some water?

It matters because she still wants to play a role in 2018 with a midterm drive, and still up in the air for a rematch in 2020. It very much matters.

This is so simple.

Omg she's not fucking running in 2020. She's barely said fuck all.

And the election was not actually a fish in a barrel because wait for it GOP voters comes home... always

Also she had a lot of policy but no one cared.

But keep parroting the usual talking points. That private/public thing is exactly why she didn't want her speeches released because folks would blow that shit out of proportion in order to paint her in the most cynical fashion possible.

Is this really a surprise? She's disliked by Republicans and a significant fragment of Democrats alike. I mean, I think literally every other Democrat candidate would have snatched it away from Drumpf. I'm still salty about Bernie :(

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
She was never that well liked but nobody likes a loser. Her shitty campaign fucked things up for the entire planet.

Certainly not her worst mis-step. Her questionable behavior and convenient pivot on TPP, "having a public and private position", running ads with almost no policy substance or than "Trump is a dirty man!", and "running the most progressive campaign in history" just after admitting how Moderate you are at a rally, oh, and your opponent is Bernie-fucking-Sanders.

You really need to get out more

I'm not the biggest Hilary fan.

But I still thinks she is leagues better than Trump. She's a capable politician with some reasonable stances.

Hillary Clinton will be a boogeyman for the Right until the end of time. Big difference post 2016 is that her stunning electoral loss resulted in a lot of Democrat partisans cutting bait. Less people defending her, but the same old crowd calling her an evil Socialist mastermind.

She can console herself with the $100,000,000 in book deals and speaking fees.

Hillary is polished, professional and compassionate. Which = boring and deceitful to many voters.

Trump is rough, classless and ignorant. Which = interesting and honest to many voters.

---I don't know. I got nothing to explain this.

These days, people think if you look like a good candidate, there must be something wrong with you. Likewise, if you look like you got something wrong with you, you are a good candidate.

So? She lost a presidential campaign. Most democrats are pissed at the mistakes she made.

oh yeah... (once again) she lost and her public life is probably over and done.

Why do people feel the need to keep bashing Clinton? When Mitt Romney lost, we saw the photo of him filling up his car and that was it... We didn't have articles 6 months later "Mitt Romney still lost the 2012 election."
Romney also faded away, too though. He isn't a political impact anymore. Hell, if anything, the "new-Media like Secular Talk and TYT rib on Romney still, especially Obamacare being based on a Romney and GOP think tank, which has all sorts of irony.

Hillary in the other hand keeps on coming back. Which is why she's still being discussed

This is pretty misleading anyway.

It's not like the poll asked "hey given the choice of Clinton or Trump, who would you take?" and most people said Trump

It's republicans saying they hate hillary and support trump, and democrats saying fuck trump and kinda fuck hillary too for giving us trump

Judging by this thread, she will be a boogeyman for the left as well.

Bernie-or-busters and Democrats who were depressed by her loss. There's no *reason* to like her now. If you voted for her you wasted your vote and are inclined to be grumpy about that (i know i am), if you didn't vote for her then you dislike her for any of the reasons that made you not vote for her.

How else would President Johnson and Zuckerberg would have been elected if not for the groundwork Trump laid down?

Those are honestly the best-case scenarios for this timeline. More likely we'll end up with Shkreli or maybe even Bannon, assuming Trump ever leaves the throne to begin with.

Isn't that exactly what this poll is about? It's now about "which one would you choose now", but how popular both of them are. And like you said yourself, Trump is supported by the Republicans whereas a significant part of Democrats dislike Hillary.

Her reelection chances will surely be hurt!

Every Presidential loser gets viewed unfavorably immediately after, not surprised. More shocking the cheeto is in the margin or error.

Hillary occasionally speaks publicly, but she has not been terribly active since the election. Trump and people like Hannity spend far more time talking about Hillary than she does interjecting into the current public conversation.

Are you a time traveler? She hasn't been "coming back".

Has Hillary really had that high of a profile since the election, though? She's done couple interviews and done some non-campaining speeches.

I think part of is that 2016 is still being widely discussed, widely re-litigated, widely reviled which keeps Hillary actively in peoples' minds, whether or not she's even doing anything herself.

She's barely said boo. Please come back down to Earth

Republicans never liked her and independents and democrats don't like her because she lost what many saw as a lay up.

The better question would be who would you rather have as president Trump or Clinton?

But Clinton is currently not president, not running for president, and is barely in the spot light. So... This poll is fairly pointless.

It would be fucking hilarious if she ran again. What a stupid country.
I don't see it happening, honestly
Omg she's not fucking running in 2020. She's barely said fuck all.

Hillary is not going to run in 2020. This is not up in the air.
Of course she hasn't said it, but it's heavily rumored within he DNC in the list of potential contenders, next to Long list of other contenders like Warren, Gillibrand, Booker, Kaine, etc

It has a point. The more people talk about Clinton, the less they talk about Trump.

See how Fox News is still going on about her daily.
