Don't know if you're forced to used the Sixaxis, but I heard its the best implementation of it to date.

I've been sick for the past few weeks and in the height of my delirium, I made the decision to get Flow based on that I heard it was more of a toy that you mess with than anything close to a brain stimulating game, which was exactly what I needed at the time.
The one thing I hear people who like Flow say about the game is that the motion controls are wonderful and just simply steering the little terminator fish is a joy in itself; couple this with it's passive gameplay of leisurely eating little organisms whenever you feel like it and the game is supposed to make you reach Zen faster than eating a bowl of mushrooms. Sadly, like most toys I've ever played with, it was interesting for a few minutes and then I figuratively threw it to the side, never feeling compelled to get back to it. The motion controls were neither relaxing or fun, nor did I feel more at one with my terminator fish because I was "physically steering" it with my motions. The controls just were; they were fine and all and got the job done, but were not all that engaging. Equally unengaging was the main task of eating everything in plain sight. It got passive right; entertaining, not so much.
I felt like it was a waste of $8 and as a frugal man, it left enough of an impression on me to be extremely hesitant on the purchase of Flower, which is giving me a tug-of-war beween hype and the fear of money-burning disappointment.

Flower actually has levels and pretty decent replay value for searching for hidden flowers. You're gonna get at least a bunch of hours from just a single run of doing everything, and you'll want to do it again. No hesitation. February 12. Go. Flow. Flower.
(I went back to level 1, 2 and 6 again last night, still loving it. Level 6 is pure orgasm all the way through.)
