No trailer yet????

I loved the first film, second film was fun but the fact that we have not gotten a trailer for this with it only a month out is most certainly not a good sign. Might be more rubbish then anyone is expecting. Really wanted this to be good...

Jeepers Creepers was one of the worst horror movies I've ever seen. Every character was fucking horrible and too stupid to live, and I was rooting for the monster the whole time. I would have walked out of the theater, but I was with friends. They all hated it too, but didn't want to walk out since we paid money for it.

I never bothered with the sequel, and I'm super surprised there's a third one coming. I didn't realize it was a popular enough movie to produce two sequels. Kind of impressive, really. As a fan of horror movies, I just can't stand this one.

EDIT: oh shit, I had no idea about this fucker's pedophile past. Now I'm really glad I hate his movie. What a fucking shitstain. And of course Hollywood lets him continue to make movies.

TAJ

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
I watched one of his recent movies, Dark House, on Netflix. It was terrible.
I liked the first two in this series but I'm pretty sure this is going to be garbage.

Hollywood people really don't seem to give a fuck.

Or he's a changed man?

Even if he was, I would professionally stay clear of him.

Nah, he still unrepentantly directed both Captain EO and Jack.

Is Jeepers Creepers 3 going to bring back Steve Zahn? Are they going to explain Paul Walker's absence away or will they CGI him? What a mess they're in!

I remember watching the first one in theatres way back, and i didn't like it. Didn't realize they made a sequel, let alone that there was a third one now coming up.

After finding out now that the director is a pedophile, i feel fucking awful for even having watched that piece of shit movie back then. Fuck this guy and those who support him.

What the director did was obviously horrible, but unlike other Hollywood personnel he did jail time (though I think he got off too easily) and as someone who believes in rehabilitation it would be hypocritical of me to say "Once a criminal always a criminal!".

I'll watch it when it comes to a streaming service.

Wow, that news he is a pedo....I actually enjoyed the first film, and I love the scarecrow scene, but damn the director is a pedo.....

How the fuck is this getting a theatrical release but the Chucky franchise, currently riding its high right now, relegated to Direct to DVD?

Ignoring the fact that the director's a child molester, Jeepers Creepers has always been a pretty middle-of-the-road horror series.

I don't believe in rehabilitation for pedophiles.

It wasn't going to be a wide release.

As shitty as the guy is, he served some time for what he did. That's more than people can say for someone like Roman Polanski.

Agreed.

Not only that, Polanski has been embraced and championed by the Hollywood Elite, many of whom profess to be liberal.

Because Chucky is under no illusions or delusions about what it is.

Okay, "out in theaters" seems like a strong statement, since it's a super limited release for one day only. It's a direct to video release with a one day promotional theater screening.

I tried to watch the first one recently and couldn't continue after the scene where they go investigate the killer's house and look into the shaft in the ground.

Didn't know the director was a pedo

I went in knowing it was going to be bad, I just didn't expect it to be this bad.

Spoilers just in case.

Bad acting, terrible CGI, anti climatic and fucking dumb ending, and a shit ton of blues ball involving the creepers origins.

And best part, I don't know if this was known or not.

It's not a sequel, it takes place in between 1 and 2, which apparently are days apart now. And then teases another movie, like that's gonna happen.

Like I was kinda into the first half, it wasn't good, but my nostalgia for the first movie was riding high, and then just off a cliff.

Had no idea they made a third one. I remember seeing the first and thinking it was alright, never really saw much of the second other than bits and pieces while flipping through channels. I vaguely recall reading an article about the homoerotic undertones in the movies but I completely forgot about Victor Silva's criminal history.

His ongoing career in filmmaking became controversial after his conviction in 1988 for charges relating to his sexual molestation of a 12-year-old actor who was starring in one of his films, videotaping himself in the act of doing so, and possessing commercial videotapes and magazines containing child pornography.

What the fuck, man? How does this guy still direct movies with kids in them?

Saw it a few hours ago. Was really bad.

And a character makes a joke about another character being sexually assaulted, and says he could see why she would get sexually assaulted. When speaking of the assailant, he says "the heart wants what the heart wants." I found this really gross considering the director's history.

Anyone care to spoil (with tags of course) the entire movie for those of us who don't want to pay to see it? lol. I tried Googling plot spoilers but no dice (makes sense since the movie just came out). Thanks!

That tells you everything you need to know about Victor fuckin Salva.

Sure.

Takes place between 1 and 2, immediately after the end of part 1. Trish is in police station freaking out. Sergeant Tubbs and all these other dudes decide to try to take the creeper down. They're all quite stupid and fail miserably. One of the previous victims of the creeper found a hand (that the creeper dropped from the sky) and hid it. His mother digs it up and turns out if you touch it, you can see the creeper' s history. Two people see it, but we are given no details. Nothing, nada, zip, nothing. Just that the creeper must be really really ancient. One of the people who learns of the secret is killed by the creeper in a ridiculous and comical death scene. Other woman leaves a note for the creeper saying she knows what it is. The creeper sees it and screams in anger and frustration. Trish Jenner cameos at the end, talking over a radio. She tells the Creeper to come get her, that she's gonna kill it and etc, the end. That's the relevant stuff.

Thanks!

Creeper history/backstory would've been the only reason I'd have seen it, but it's horseshit that we get none of it in this film >:[.

If the movie doesn't open with the Creeper being harpooned the moment it wakes up then the movie's already failed.

Yeah, see that sounds shitty.

The few positives in the movie, the Creeper still looks cool if you are into his weird 14 year old edgy bat monster aesthetic.

And a few parts of the movie veer into so bad it's funny territory. Like the audience laughed a lot at my showing.

If it shows up on Netflix, I still wouldn't recommend it, especially if it leads to Victor making money.

I'm honestly really disappointed in myself for giving him my money.

There's still good stuff in it, but man the special effects are fucking awful, and the worst part is they're used in scenes that could have simply been written differently to accommodate the budget. My wife thought the movie was ~20 years old because of the special effects.

Then there's also the fact that the story is meandering as hell, that there's all this build up with no pay off and, surprisingly, no climax. Characters are all useless and there are like 15 minutes spent building up a reveal of the Creeper's origins to hopefully find a way to kill it, but we never find out what they saw and it didn't lead to a clue about how to kill it.

Also the traps in the truck don't make sense.

The Creeper is still amazing though, and a few scenes are well shot. The music is also pretty close to the one in the first two despite the composer being different.

All in all, I don't know how 14 years can have led to such a mess, especially considering the first two are legitimately good movies, but it was worth it just to see the Creeper again. He's still a great character.

Watched the trailer and it looks terrible. I always liked the monster with its cool demonic weapons tho. This time he has a spear!

Never knew that the director was a child rapist - and I kind of enjoyed the first two.

I'll not watch this.
