If Sasuke appears and beats Naruto in his ultimate current form, this manga will be a joke. There is NO WAY Sasuke can beat Naruto right now. And what kind of upgrade can he even get to tie/beat Naruto with all the bijuu power? Then how does Naruto power up even further to beat him? It would just get stupid at this point.

At best Naruto is totally worn out from all this and resting with no access to most of his powers and Sasuke shows up in full power and they are EVEN and put off the continuation of the fight for a bit while this arc finishes and then afterwards Naruto can trounce his ass. Maybe he can knock Sasuke to the moon and let Sasuke emo out there for the rest of his life.

Ohh, conflicting sources then. Well, I'm not sure but in retrospect I thought the first part of the newest arc was pretty good after initially dismissing it. It was a decent build-up but the actual fights were kinda lame and too short. I guess they want to focus on the fight between Ryo and Toma but still, I'd have liked to see a bit more of Toma's other team-members.

The mirror could have worked for a little longer but it wouldn't have been very satisfying. To be honest, a good ACTUAL ending is something I look forward to, even if it is pretty early.

I figured ~50 chapters would have been the extent of things. Guess I was off a bit.

Kubo really has no idea what a human being actually acts like, and that is simply not even debatable after the entirety of Aizen's story arc. He fucked up bad with Rukia in Soul Society and Orihime in Heuco Mundo in terms of their characters and how they would naturally develop in any normal storytelling sense. Kubo's definition of character development is that characters change personalities for no real reason whatsoever, rather than showing actual progress aka real character development.
