Lots of plot shit happening here with Claude figuring out the truth and Ruri being a BOSS.
There's something hilarious to me about Ruri saying "man I know how hard it must have been for Kosaki to confess her feelings" despite the fact it took Ruri about 10 chapters to confess to the guy she liked after figuring out she liked him.

Keep reading. Take note of the chapter numbers as the...full numbers are often amusing hijinks and the .5 chapters are often the real meat of the story and characters. And for a 4koma, let's just say the plot goes to some very heavy and dark places. Not dark "edgy" like people are so quick to proclaim but dark as in dealing with some really REAL stuff.
The manga is surprisingly a well written character drama. I really really like it a lot. So much so that often while I'm amused by the comedy I am continuously waiting for the serious chapters. The characters grow, the plot progresses, it does what a story should.
It's honestly probably because he has like 7 functioning organs. He probably doesn't even have like a working liver or kidneys.

Oh my god, the Treasurer introduction slayed me. He's too on point and Kaguya's death stare is amazing. Poor Fujiwara, her death sentence has already been decided.

Soul Eater End
Now having read where the anime left off, i could go without a Soul Eater Brotherhood tbh. There is some cool stuff that id like to see animated but eh the plot feels very directionless or uninspired at times in the second half, like just a bunch of fights and random bits of plot/character development that come so abruptly and are never fully fleshed out that i didn't really care about what was happening some times plus the sense of fun was diminished-it starts to take it itself a bit too seriously for my liking. Lol ill sum up the exposition in second half as well, everything that happens is because of either "lol it was the black blood" or "lol it was the madness." And the character designs take a dive too, i was so sick of seeing generic evil clown thing #23 by the end. They pretty much waste the one interesting villain Medusa-instead they throw 20 different random jobbers that were totally interchangeable.
Though there were still a lot of stuff i enjoyed. The book of ebion arc was great and gender bent chapters were absolute gold. Some of the panels showing the madness effects were really freaky and i love how Crona's design transforms into something out of Coraline. And ill enjoy any scene that involves Kid, Black Star or Stein.

The combination of an insane female lead, Saya no Uta-esque visceral terror and supernatural mystery is utterly irresistible to me. Followed for that reason, and also out of morbid curiousity for the fates of the MC's fledgling harem.

If I've learned anything it's that if a mangaka does Hentai their normal work is normally funnier than like 90% of the manga out there. There's a correlation I tells ya.
