This might help me get a preorder somewhere closer than an hour and a half away. I stupidly didn't account for me moving when I made my preorder like a dumbass, and now I gotta drive to Best Buy a long way away X_x

just follow Wario64 and turn notifications on for his tweets. that's how i got my preorder of switch and nes classic. :)

At this point I am convinced that Wario64 is Google and IBM's first real breakthrough at AI so he is actually an "It"

Best of luck everybody. I was luckily there for the Feb 7th Walmart.com restock, but I've still got my fingers crossed for a BotW Special Edition.

$70 for the pro controller just stings. So hard to stomach after the $299 console and $100 version of Zelda I'm also getting. And the travel case, screen protector, car charger, etc. But I know I gotta get it.

Use the visa checkout to get 25 off, that's what I did, one game and a pro pad :p

If you preordered a switch the night it went up and you want to go in the store and pick it up from best :/ :(haven't checked to see if my store is having a midnight event quite yet) is it completely possible they sell your preorder of the switch?

I don't think so. When I preordered the Wii U from Best Buy they had it behind the counter at customer service for store pickup. Had to show ID, order number, etc. to get it and the game/controller I preordered. Also for the PS4 launch I preordered one and it was the same situation and I didn't pick that one up until a few days after.

If your Bestbuy is doing a midnight release I'm sure every Switch will be counted for each preorder and not being sold to the public.

I got two preorders in (Amazon/BB) the night of the reveal in case one of them got cancelled for whatever reason. Now that I'm 99% sure neither of them will be cancelled I'm hesitant to drop either of them.

I'm either going to sell the second to a friend or check to see what madness takes place on eBay come launch day.

Hopefully I'm able to snag a pro controller from somewhere shortly after launch.

I'm contemplating canceling the Charging Grip, as I'm getting the Pro and I'm probably rarely gonna play games on the TV.

Is it known if every game will be playable with the Pro Controller when you're playing on the TV? If so then I definitely don't need the Grip.

I have the switch and breath of the wild pre-ordered on amazon and a pro controller from best buy. First time I've ever pre-ordered a console and I'm excited to come home from work on the 3rd and see that beautiful box waiting for me.

I wish the pro controller looked different. I love the look of the joycons, but the pro controller seems hodge podge and dull to me.

Completely agreed. It doesn't match the aesthetics of the Switch whatsoever. It feels like something for a totally different system. I think in terms of console/controller designs that the Xbox One is the most consistent of the recent consoles. The Dualshock 4 I think also clashes with the PS4 console design.

Neon Switch and Zelda coming from Amazon. Nothing else besides Snipperclips really interests me at this time.
