I have a feeling portals are going to be linked to the joint exploration, some sort of lobby system or something where you can see other players on a map or a list and join up with them
Code:
- Updated combat
- New exploration mechanics
- Interstellar trading
- New ships
- New story
- New worlds
- Portals
- New/updated Terrain
- Updated user interface
- new/updated "Visor"
- Visual improvements
- "No tint"
- Update to freighters
- Joint exploration
That doesn't work for me.
id like to know where they got those tidbits from. This could be a false summary.

Maybe they have some really insane plans for future updates...If thats all real i dont know why they dont just call it 2.0. Thats a major revamp.
it's the 11th over therePage was dated to go live on the 11th
it's the 11th over there
what if the portals are your way out of a complex SETI simulation that you've been plugged into, against your will, and when you go through one you emerge in the "real world" with previously unknown parkour assassin skills, and you have to escape from the lab with a surly and yet cute lab assistant while wearing a stylish backpack and trying to figure out WTF is going on and how did you just killed that guard with a punch to the neck without breaking stride
I actually think they might have been knowingly taken out due to gameplay reasons. I mean if you think about it, it probably wouldnt be too fun to be on hard mode, land on a planet and then realize 5 seconds later your dead cause the entire floor was just destroyed by a worm. They would need to build all sorts of warning systems and everything to work around it. I think though they can probably get away with putting in more manageable large creatures, maybe stick them in caves so the player can land without issue but then if they choose to go into the cave they die.
Now I can't wait to see what the modding community on PC does with what they'll likely have access to with the new update.
I have never come across what I would call a mountain so far. Not saying you are imagining things, you probably played a lot more after the update. I will definitely play again after this update and see what awaits. Also, I'm from Austria where we are spoiled when it comes to mountains. A Dutch person would probably be asking for flatter planets.
If you really think about it, an update this huge makes sense after the scale of the ARG they made for us.
So ya'll think this is worth purchasing nowadays? I can buy the PC version for $20.
Honestly, I had it on PS4 since launch and I kept trying to play but couldn't, I felt like there was no point after a few hours. Bought PC version during summer sale and gave it a fresh start since the first two updates, and actually have been enjoying it. This update is about to make it infinitely better if all the data mined stuff is real.So ya'll think this is worth purchasing nowadays? I can buy the PC version for $20.
If the datamining reports are legit, that update FAR exceeds my expectations. Like, I refuse to believe it true just to avoid any possible disappointment.
Just put it out now guys. The secret's already out. Obviously you are already up and editing the website. Just push the "deploy" button so we can get going on this thing. All these people aren't going to sleep anyway. And some dude in the other thread has his phat dabs ready for joint exploration. Just put it out now.
Same, first the memo and teaser screens had me like ok, this might be legit. Then the page leak had me like no way, impossible. Then the data mined info just made it even more crazy. Like, how could this be possible. If the datamining reports are legit, that update FAR exceeds my expectations. Like, I refuse to believe it true just to avoid any possible disappointment.
what cpu? it's pretty cpu heavyI hope PC performance is massively improved. Right now am running with dual titan x cards and at 4k I can go from 60 to 30 a lot.
