Ontario General Election 2018 |OT|

NDP majority
If the election were held today, we project these results would see an NDP Majority Government with 79 seats. The PCs would serve as opposition with 40 seats, and the Liberals would be left without enough seats to form an official party in the legislature, 5.

Conservatives were in possession, within five yards of the goal, forty points ahead and had 1 second on the clock...

Will not vote for the conservatives myself unless the whole party gets flushed and replaced with actual conservatives, not fat morons. That'll take 10 years.

Liberals - also not for a long time.

NPD - jesus....this is not a good option.

Just like every other election in recent memory, there really are not good options. This will not be good for the future of Ontario

If the NDP wins a majority I think the Province is doomed. Partially due to the Federal Liberal Parties current plans.

So PM Trudeau and his Immigration Minister won't consider closing the loop hole in treaty between us and U.S. on illegal boarder crossings into Canada. Instead he wants to accelerate giving Illegal boarder crossers work visas quicker and ship them were they want to go (Toronto) as fast as possible to relieve the pressure on Quebec..This will continue for at least 2 more years until the Federal Liberal Party is defeated.

2 years ago It cost Toronto about 88K for food and housing these asylum/refugee claimants(legitimate and Illegal) 2017 Saw that rise to 15Millionish,
Toronto expects to spend 64.5 million this year for temporary housing and is requesting federal help.

Now the NDP wants to declare Ontario a Sanctuary Province so all public services will be available to all Illegal refugee claimants...and all of America too.
I saw a tweat from Kulvinder Kaur MD stating "There are 1/2 million living in Ont That don't qualify for OHIP because they are not permanent residents or Canadian Citizens. Their free healthcare will cost the Ontario Taxpayers 2.5 BILLION annually.
Ontario could become the favorite free medical tourism location for all Americans that don't have insurance that live near the boarder since you will not be required to show ID or citizenship for services. Just say refugee and its all paid.
Healthcare is already barely sustainable in Ontario
HOW Is the NDP going to pay for this?

For the record I fully support legal immigration and legit refugee's Our Merit based system is fantastic..the more people we can bring to Canada that are qualified and needed to fill job skills we lack (and their families) is great. Refugees are welcome till their Home Country is stabilized, then they can go home and work to rebuilding their home nations.
I'm only concerned with the double wammy that will hit Ontario and how its even remotely possible to not destroy Ontario's economy in the process
