Grillmaster is tops for me this event. It's so corny it's good.
The A Salt Rifle and the diet heal up are great.
Side note...I'm now 29 boxes in and no event skins, just whites and blues for days and my purples are 90% of the time coins which I don't need.

Man, this losing losing, win losing, win is getting into my nervers since most of my Comps is basically 90% DPS, fuck tanks.
I am forced to go support since I let anyone pick support they will usually go DPS after 2 mins and leaving us without support at all.
Screw this mentality, thats why Mercy gets free SR above anyone else.

I actually think that as far as Skins go, Blizzard has topped themselves with certain characters and I don't think I'll ever prefer a skin over some they have now.
So, for me, Symmetra's Oasis skin is just the absolute best. It looks as though Symmetra digivolved into her Mega Form and is now Symmetramon and I love it.
I've had Reinhardt on his balderich skin since he came out I don't think it's gonna get better than that for him.
Hanzo's Cyborg Ninja skin is peak Hanzo.
Genji's one of the few ones that have several top tier skins. His Oni mask one is my personal favorite, but if you want something lore based, his Blackwatch skin is great too. If you want something that retains his original color scheme and slightly sillier personality, his Sentai skin is perfect. Genji's been unfairly blessed by Blizzard with several awesome skins.
And so on with some other characters. So events are starting to become diminishing returns for me. Once I find "The One" skin for each character, it'll be harder to keep paying attention to them.

Doomfist has definitely made it a lot less fun to play healers. When you're in a relatively crappy team that doesn't notice when a flanker shows up, you can't really 1v1 Doomfist as a healer.
The best I could do was switch to Lucio and at least boop him to throw him off, provided I'm not dead by then.
At higher levels? Maybe a sleep dart or something? But you'd have to be godlike fast to sleep him before he oneshots you.
Definitely very satisfying to shoot him out with Mercy mid-charge, though. It's just that it's more of a mistake from the Doomfist player for punching from such an open space than a credit to you for landing the shots.

junkrat's kit is a hard counter to doomfist though. people have already stated the trap, which deters Doomfist from fighting in the front lines, junkrat's main weapon, which can just area deny any place doomfist wants to charge his punch, and then the concussion mine which is a get out of free card for junkrat.
imo, he's probably tied for best counter to doomfist, next to pharah whose only real advantage is height.
last night my team was having a hard time against one on illios, so I break out the junk and we didn't lose a round since. junkrat is going to be way more popular once people figure this out and Doomfist becomes more prevalent.

Lol almost anytime I check one of his streams and someone ask him if he wants to do esports he literally laughs at them and says streaming has brought in more money for him then the league could ever bring in and would not want to play OW on a competitive lane.
I just checked and saw the gull had hitman and doom 2016 clips in his streams. Lol breh is going after that twitch money now.
he stepped down from nrg to stream, but streams under the nrg banner. he's not on team US because he wanted to focus on streaming. but i think he has expressed interest in playing in the OWL if the opportunity arises.

Yeah I think I'm done with this game for S6, Ranked is a hot mess and although Blizzard says they're gonna fix things I remain unpersuaded due to this game being out for a year and their track record on fixing things with their past games.
Only way they'll see the light is if people mass quit and I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I'd pay for teammates who know how to play the game. When I run into a team that knows how to play occasionally, it's like spotting a unicorn.

It depends on the level of fluffy this beard has, as Soldier's five-o clock shadow still fits.
-Competitive, while fun, is often filled with players ready to blame each other at the slightest mistake, which makes for a stressful atmosphere.
-Quickplay is more relaxed than Competitive, but team composition is thrown out the window, so it frequently turns into a stomp in favor of the team that can actually get both a healer and a tank.
-Lucioball was fun at first, but it quickly got old for me when players turned it into an XP grind-fest.
-Mystery Heroes can also turn into a stomp in favor of whichever team gets a better composition.
-Total Mayhem is a blast, but seems to always be in favor of the defending side.
-I generally dislike the Elimination game modes.
Junkenstein's Revenge and Uprising were perfect. Solid team composition, free of stress while still engaging. You had the option to set the difficulty, so if you got stomped on Legendary, you could try Hard or Elite.

Or they just want to be able to play competitive with their lower SR friends. There's probably a good number of people above or below their real SR just from that.

It doesn't matter how well I do in this game. I can never climb. And I hate to use this as any sort of indicator, but generally speaking I get good golds. I'm above average at this game. Yet, way more often then not I'm losing. I'm not tilting, I'm giving it my all, I'll go Mercy, I'll go tank, and nothing works. Where am I going wrong Gaf? What does this fucking game want?

Played in Player vs AI mode for a couple of hours tonight with a pretty good group, most of the matches were over very quickly. I got a couple of loot boxes out of it, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Then someone new joined the group and picked Orisa, and minutes later got yelled at by a couple of teammates because they weren't playing Orisa "the right way" (sniping then running and gunning, instead of shielding and defending the escort). We still won the match after losing the first objective, but the Orisa player quit the team after that. Frankly I was a little dumbfounded that people still take Player vs AI that seriously.
Also, I'm starting to warm up to Lucio Ball. I'm still terrible at it, but it seems to be the easiest way to get 9 wins in Arcade and earn those loot boxes. I'll endure the crushing defeats and poor sportsmanship long enough for inevitability to take effect, and then it's back to Player vs AI.

Depends on the rank, but maybe ult usage? Good well timed ults win games. Especially as support or tank. I'd rather have 6 dps than a support that wastes their ults.
As DPS, the first to get a kill is way more important than the last, even if the effect on medals is the same.

Doomfist might be dead below Diamond next update. Not just because of the hitbox nerf, but also the buffs to all of his counters.

The depth of the punch was also "nerfed" I assume, like when he could pick someone behind cover.

If I have all golds, I tend to take that as a bad thing. It means I'm possibly the best player on my team.

Orisa should absolutely destroy doomfists after the update.
I wish I understood the mindset of someone who stubbornly refuses to switch off a character they aren't doing well with. Like if you instalock DPS and your tanks are rocking gold at the end of the first round with less than 10, its time to switch. I ask them to switch to healing because our mercy has always been at master with dps and it would help out. Nope, they want him to play healing so their friend can continue missing shots with McCree. So annoying.

I can consistently have 144 FPS with my i5 6500 and GTX 1060 with everything on low besides texture quality. Having it on ultra or high I can't seem to keep these frames.

But that's a pretty big patch for a hitbox fix, no? It must also include the stuff they are going to show at Gamescom next week.
I haven't had much trouble against Orisa currently (assuming a 1v1 encounter). Granted I don't play doomfist in competitive, it's not that bad. Although she can fortify against his punch, landing your rocket punch will allow you to be in range to unload your shotgun and uppercut. It really could go either way depending on the situation.
