Platinum Games @pg_jp says that if someone is willing to pay, they will develop for the Vita.

Sony should really send some dollars over.

I would play Bayonetta on my Vita.

Their games aren't commercial successful except Metal Gear Rising, which probably only was because of the branding.

Would be surprised if Sony is willing to finance them.

Alright. I haven't touched my Vita for months though.

Just came back to Persona 4: Golden and it's fantastic. And now I'm looking for some cheap games on PSN. I'm mainly looking af Spelunky, Terraria, Virtua Tennis 4, Luftrausers and Earth Defense Force 2017 - any of them worth it on Vita?

Can I play multiplayer in Spelunky, so that I control a player on the Vita, while another controls a character on the PS3 in the same level?

All the mentioned games are good on the Vita.

Ehh it would be 5 hour long gaming equvalent of german porn anyway like they always do.

Is that supposed to be good or bad?

I think I'll buy those 2 games on PC then.

But I'm close dipping in on Spelunky if it'll let 2 people play; one on Vita and one on PS3.
Just my opinion, but I think Luftrausers is absolutely perfect as a portable game. It's got that real 'quick pick up & play' thing going on.

is there a UK/EU version of the buy/sell thread anywhere? The sticky one moves super fast and is very US-centric. Trying to sell my Vita 1000 w/32GB card and a few extras (and my kids 3DSes.
Keeps getting asked for and with good support, but I don't think anyone actually made it.

not sure if this was posted:

PlayStation Vita v3.15 Update
PS4 Link Update for Remote Play: Linking your PS4 and PS Vita together will now be easier with the 3.15 update for PS Vita. It’ll enable Automatic Device Registration, which will automatically detect and pair both systems when they’re both online and the same user is signed in to both devices. This makes it even quicker for you to get started on Remote Play or access other second screen features.

coming tomorrow -

Wait. Wait wait wait. Does that mean that when I will have a PS4 I won't be able to remote play if the console is set on my French account and the Vita on my US one ?

For you.

You can still remote play, the only difference is that it will not pair up the devices automatically, you have to do it manually. At least that is how I read it.

I have played so many hours of Spelunky on vita that it is almost ridiculous, can't recommend it enough. There can be some slowdown, but it is very infrequent. Generally the water and giant pirannah levels in the forest and the snowy levels with the yeti in ice caves slow down on vita when there are like 5+ gems/items on the screen at a time. This has never killed me, and actually saved me a few times, but it does exist. Despite this, Vita is absolutely perfect for Spelunky.

We should start a twitter movement or something to demand 60hz versions of old games on PSN, this shit is ridiculous. Changing accounts on the Vita is too much of a hassle, at least one of these things needs to change.

So Mind=Zero is coming next month. I've only heard bad things about it but I am still intrigued about this game. I've heard of things like PERSONA=ZERO, supposedly cliffhanger ending, seen the japanese reviews on Amazon and other stuff from the impression thread but the itch to play this game.
I think I'll wait for some more impressions before deciding to buy this or not. Especially since Blazblue, XBlaze and GOTY Vita Pets are launching in June.

Welcome! Enjoy your stay!

Yup, definitely on board here. In fact I'm a sucker for D-tiers JRPG these days. If the game is only as good as Conception 2 (which let's face it is not really good), then I'm set.
I'm often burned by the quality of these games but at the same time there is a pleasure to be had with middle of the road games. And it's not like we still lived in the glory days of JRPG when Xenogears was Monday and Vagrant Story was Tuesday.

I loved playing Bayonetta before but I rather want to see them work on a new IP for the Vita. A super late port would not help the Vita at this point. I would be all over them if they can create something like Okami or DC or Muramasa.
I only had a Ps3 and I refused to give Sega my hard earned cash for that crapping port, so would buy a good native Vita port in a flash.

But a PG developed Vita exclusive would also be awesome on so many levels.

JP PS Store's Golden Week sales are rather underwhelming so far. Or rather each company's.

So far, there's Biohazard sale from Cacpcom.

And another from Nippon Ichi Software, but the only title I'm interested in is only discounted ~400yen (Zettai Hero Project). Not cheap enough for me to jump on it.

Whatever Bayonetta was like on launch, it's fine now. There have been patches to fix the sppoosed issues. I played this game to death, and never had problems.

Bayonetta Vita would be worse than the already hated PS3 version. It's like when people ask for the DMC games to be ported, but forget that Vita hasn't a hope of running them at 60fps.

Hi everyone

I'm a new Vita owner and I'm taking advantage of the PS+ subscription to get free Vita games.
Among the Vita games I was interested in, two are "instant games", so I already got them for free:

Uncharted Golden Abyss
Gravity Rush

For a PAL user as I am, which are the chance to get the following games for free through PS+? Maybe some of those were already available as "games of the month", so I missed them, some of them maybe isn't still on the PS+ but could end to be put under the subscription in the future, some of them could see random deals (especially offers + PS+ additional discount), so help me out.
Maybe mine are silly questions, but I'm not so expert of the PS+ yet.

Soul Sacrifice
Fifa 13/14 (are those available for Vita?)
Perona 4 Golden
MGS Collection
ZOE collection
Dead or Alive 5 plus
Wipeout 2048
Killzone mercs
Tearaway
Toukiden
Freedom Wars

So I noticed some zen pinball tables on sale for the ps4. Are these still crossbuy if you buy it on ps3/vita to ps4?

As the PS+, Wipeout 2048 is currently on IGC. Soul Sacrifice was on that some months ago, so you missed it.

I think Tearaway has a big chance will be a part of PlayStation Plus Instant Collection this summer. And maybe Killzone and Toukiden.

Also ZOE Collection was released only on PS3, there is no Vita version yet.

I thought Child of Light had a demo. Or is this the same as Trials Fusion, with the EU not getting a demo again?

Forgot EU got MGS HD Collection for Vita for ps+.
Maybe Tearaway, but Killzone is actually selling. Don't really see Toukiden for ps+ anytime soon. It sold pretty well on digital for February.

thanks for the reply.
I'll look for Wipeout and Soul sacrifice outside the Instant game collection, maybe waiting for digital deals.
I hope Tearaway will hit it sooner or later.

Had the misfortune of going through the download list on the Vita to redownload some old DLC. Its total shite, you cant filter it and when you do download something it resets the list to the top. Embarassingly bad.

On one hand, they seem to know my tastes well. On the other, one has to wonder to what extent this is a commercially advantageous use of their resources...
