No, most of the major channels only broadcast in 720p or 1080i.Most of the source content isn't even 1080p is it?

This is ridiculous we are starting to adopt 4k tvs and these companies aren't even broadcasting in 1080p!? WTF
Its not like you're getting real deal 4K quality through Netflix either.
This service includes DVR? How does that work?
I wanna cut the cord as I'm paying like $120 a month for cable and internet and I don't watch much TV, but I do use old school dvr as a way of reminding me what I want to watch haha

There is a local DVR aspect that records a buffer of live TV to allow pausing, reversing, and fast forward (this too may be cloud based on devices other than PS4, not sure).
Yeah, thanks to that stupid Sandwhale shit the DVR cuts off the last minute or so of Dragon Ball Z Kai now.
This doesn't always work and you're at the mercy of if the show will allow you to do that. It's not universal.
Welcome to the limitations of PS Vue's shitty DVR.
I've been a subscriber since July 2016, I've rarely had issue with it.
Honestly aside from that I have little to complain about with Vues DVR. I basically have a complete Simpsons catalogue with that show on the DVR list thanks to FXX lol
Is the service completely down for anyone else? Never had this happen before

How many people can be streaming this at once?
5 people I believe
Hmm seems like more money for less channels than what I have using vue.Hulu announced their new TV streaming service: https://www.hulu.com/live-tv
Vue seems like a way better deal, but I noticed that Hulu has Viceland which was announced for Vue awhile back. Hopefully we'll be getting it soon.

Christ, what was your cap, 250GB?I left when Viacom left.
I no longer go over my Comcast data cap every month now.
I'm probably paying more than I need to right now since I'm paying for Vue and regular Hulu. I think everything I'd watch on Hulu is also on the Vue On Demand, but I've been too lazy to check.Yep. More money, less channels, less DVR storage, fewer concurrent streams. I guess if Hulu original programming is important to you it might be worth it?

I'm not them but the best reasonably priced internet where I live (CableOne) in the US has a 300GB cap. You can get more but it's like a tiny upgrade for exponentially more money.Christ, what was your cap, 250GB?

I didn't have cable on my own before, just internet. I pay $85 a month for 100mbps/10mbps service.A question for people who switched, what were you guys paying for cable and internet previously to what you pay for Vue/Netflix/Hulu/whatever else and internet?
Trying to figure out what I want to do when I move out. Charter is probably better than AT&T internet wise, but my girlfriend is very adamant about having DirecTV. So I'm trying to find cheaper alternatives.
If they had live (instead of on demand) local channels beyond CBS around Baltimore, as well as a little more generous DVR option and The CW, I would have switched yesterday.
Still thinking about it for when my 2 yr contract with DTV is up this August.
Going from $170/ month for basic with just HBO to $65/m for Ultra with HBO and Showtime sounds soooooo appealing...
When they say including HBO and Showtime though, is it 1 channel for each, or all the channels?

I think to get the max 5, you need to have a playstation as one or two of your devices, and three can be other (pc, tablet, phone, amazon box). Unless that has changed recently.
5 people, but they all have to be on the same network right?
I've really enjoyed Vue. Great service for cheaper than you would expect. I've got the $35 sports package and it has been a god send for College Football, NFL, and NBA.
