Yeah, I'm guessing the Wii U port is coming a few months after the arcade release. Maybe Summer next year, to tide us over until Zelda in the Fall / Winter?

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. It makes sense as a summer release.

Releasing the console version 4-5 months is too early and has the potential to cut drastically into the arcade business of the game. Releasing a year after the arcade is perfectly fine. Namco isn't going to kill their arcade business for the sake of releasing it early. They already did that once with Tekken 5 and it was not a wise business decision on their part. Hence they haven't done it again.

I wasn't talking about a Japanese release. They can release on Japanese Wii u's (or next console) way after western release. That won't affect Japanese arcades at all.

All those high jumps says otherwise. Definitely not a characteristic in 3d fighters. Plus lack of any sidestepping in teaser. Hopefully it is 3D though. Easier for me to get into coming from Tekken.
