Their counter is 50 dollars off every console, including the Elite, until December 26th. Places like Amazon are throwing in extras with some bundles. With the Halo bundle you get The Taken King and Forza Horizon 2 at Amazon for 449. I wonder if Amazon is trolling 343 by using a more popular Bungie game to help sell a console that's been struggling to sell.

Got a cool looking vader console and a great LE controller for under 300 dollars. I'm happy. It also came with a 20 percent off one-time purchase on PSN.

I was at Costco store last night and they are selling PS4 at $279. Don't think it was a bundle but not sure. Pretty good price and I think Costco extends warranty on electronics for 1 more year if I recall. Just a heads up if anyone was still looking.

These boxes are competing for the consumers' dollars, the competition scenario is inevitable, hence why you get brand allegiances (usually to justify said loyalty).

Many folks on this board are different, in that they own multiple consoles, however most will still have their biases/preferences towards specific brands.

Then again, brand loyalty is a fickle thing, at least here in NA, where the crowd swung from PS2 to X360 to PS4.
