COMFORTABLY NUMB!!!!!!!

Completely and 100% sold, on that one song. Alone.

Aye. I decided some time ago that while Guitar Hero was awesome, that song would make it perfect, and when the rivalry started up, I decreed that the one franchise that got it, would get my purchase.

However, given it's mired in such an unutterably messy minefield of bitterness and rights wrangling, I'm always left massively sceptical of any list that includes it; I'll believe it when I see it.

Yeah, should be awesome! I'm amazed it's taken so long to get this damn song into one of these games.

That would be seriously arm-breaking :D
They could also throw As I Am for the hardcores out there, which would provide an interesting challenge. Also can't get enough Buckethead love, as far as difficult song go I prefer it vastly over Dragonforce madness (feels like nonsense seriously, no hate but personal taste here)

What is the same source ? (as the GameFAQS poster just said what you put...

"I dunno. It's apparently leaked by the same guy who leaked the lists for GH3, but I don't remember that too well. Either way, it's pretty well put together." - Frofrodajimmyboy

List looks great, and seems very accurate... but.. I'm still not a full believer.

Everlong, Comfortably Numb, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Beat It, and Johnny B Goode?

Looks like I'm buying yet another Guitar Hero.

Don't Fear the Reaper and Crazy Train too? This has to be too good to be true.

Oh. My. God.

Finally. :) Now, it's time for an epic 7 minute masterpiece that will pretty much kill your hands... Okay, it's no Dragonforce on difficulty, but holy hell will that song be tough.

I'm a huge Maiden fan, so I really, really hope it does go in. I just wish there could be 2 guitars + one bass for Maiden songs, but hey.

Dude, I've been saying that there should be an option for lead/rhythm guitar combos instead of just guitar and bass, and this song would definitely be a reason why. That and Master of Puppets' dual harmony guitars in the middle. Or if they ever got a song like Hotel California, you're telling me that people would rather play the bass line than have the two guitars going at the same time?

Maybe Neversoft can step up and get that done before they release the game. I think it would be amazing.

StoOgE

First tragedy, then farce.
I was about to go buy RB with my next paycheck. That has been put on Hiatus until I find out if this is true.

Wait, Nottingham Lace is instrumental, right? How can that be in the game.

If Neversoft are completely awesome and are putting songs in even if one part of the band can't play on them I'm gonna go offer them some handjobs.

I'm seeing 15 songs I'm anticipating, which is about five songs short of Rock Band's list (and 15 for RB2). If that's the real list, I think I'll just wait for them to appear in Rock Band with the superior interface (and probably notecharts).

KILL

Manowar is awesome and so are you

Only the inclusion of Achilles, Agony and Ecstasy in Eight Parts would make me buy this game. If that was the case, then "other games play, GH:WT kills."

FUCK THE POLICE

I fantasize that all those gangster rap songs are actually about Sting and crew. SO BORING.

apart from that, wow if true.

borghe

ok, now time for borghe's list on why this list is full of win and would make GHWT a must buy :D

Prognosis? I loved RB2's list, but yeah.. this beats it for me.... Fortunately there are very few repeats across all games and tons of kick ass songs. And I'm not even going to bother putting comments next to the ones that make my little heart go pitter patter, as it would basically end up being like 20 songs alone.

The solo at the end of comfortably numb is SO SICK. Please please please let this list be true. I will be so let down if it is.

Oh, and why the hell are they bringing back boss battles?

They don't use weapons any more. It's more "this boss has recorded a hard song, take it in turns to play sections and try and survive" I think. Which is much better. The Mario Kart stuff works online but not so much in career.

It wouldn't really make sense to import guitar only songs in to a band game. It'd be nice if DLC worked just in a "classic" mode, but I doubt it.

Wow at that setlist. Never thought I'd see Shinedown's "45" in a game, but I'm glad it's (allegedly) there!

Yep. Love that tune. Kinda with RB's Simple Man was their version... *runs*

I find the lack of previously confirmed Jim Hendrix disturbing.

Huh? Two songs of his are in the setlist with the rest coming as DLC.

Legends of Rock Tour:
"Johnny B. Goode" by Chuck Berry
"The Wind Cries Mary" by Jimi Hendrix
Encore: "Purple Haze (Live)" by Jimi Hendrix

Forgotten in his cell
Dope Nose? That's a really old Harmonix leftover.

Johnny B. Good and & Jumping Jack Flash are the only MUST HAVES for me. Alot of things I don't like.

Weekly DLC or no buy.

RB averages about five songs a week, if GHWT can meet or surpass that: it gets my dollars

Seeing as they haven't said "weekly DLC" I wouldn't expect it.

I don't understand why we're now deciding if we're purchasing a product based on whether or not it'll give us the ability to purchase additional content. It's not like you're getting married to the game.
