Say I wanted to move from S7 edge to S8. Is my best bet selling my phone via Craigslist or is there some kind of trade up program that's worthwhile? I'm on AT&T and I am up for an upgrade.
Someone recommended Swappa in here the other day, which I had never heard of but seems pretty good.
Yes and yes, I'm on Wi-Fi. Exynos version btw.
edit: signing out seemed to have helped... weird...
edit2: well for some videos, the 4k one still maxes out at 720p60, as all 60fps vids do apparently.
What's the sexiest case for the 8+? Have never used one before but I fucked my s7 edge up twice and I'm not ruining another beautiful phone lol.
I was planning on waiting to upgrade my Nexus 6P for the Pixel 2, but this thread has me tempted to pull the trigger on S8+.
Decisions, decisions...
This finger print scanner placement isnt as bad as people made it oit to be. Works flawlessly with my grip.

The Galaxy S8 in black is some piece of technological marvel. I can't stop looking at it, and I came from a Galaxy S6.
Meanwhile, I need a good cover for it for when I go traveling. Are the samsung covers any good?
does always on display stay on in the pocket? Seems like a waste of battery life there and the sensors should be able to figure out if the phone is out in the open or not.
It's harder than I thought it would be to find a good glass screen protector for this that isn't around $50.The screen protectors at Verizon are garbage. A good amount of sensitivity loss all around and in 10 hours the adhesive gave way.
The phone itself is great, with the battery being much improved from my S6.
I haven't tried it at 1440p yet, but no issues playing it at 1080p60 here.
y.
I think the promotion thing is a pain in the ass. Preordering in a Tmobile and they didn't exact give me a receipt stating I bought the phone so I had to go to the site and screen capped something of the sort and hopes it'll work. Why can't they just register by ya know, having the phone registered along with maybe sending a text message code or something. Not all places are going to give receipts.
You have to get package disabler plus and disable Gear service, then you can use it like a regular cardboard.Wait...so if I use the Gear VR it forces me to use the Oculus app ONLY?
I can't use Google Cardboard or the Nvidia ansel thing?

I just went to the s8+ from 6p. The only thing I miss about it is the fingerprint scanner.

Been using the S8+ for a week now, great phone. Took it on a trip to Texas this weekend, took some great photos with it:
