LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner will be appearing at the Oxford Union on 19th February 2016 at 8pm.

For the 24 hours either side of their talk, the trio will be occupying the elevator at EC English Oxford in Gloucester Green (OX1 2BT), from 9am on 19th February until 9am on 20th February.

A live audio and video feed of the elevator will be broadcast inside the debating chamber of the Oxford Union for the duration, as well as online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KDW4... acting as an extended 24 hour talk.

Visitors will be able to join LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner inside the elevator during this time, and are invited to address the artists, the debating chamber, and the internet, so that their collective voices may form an extended, expansive and egalitarian Oxford Union address.

The performance and access to the Union debating chamber will be free and open to the public for the full 24 hours.

Art collective LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner comprises Shia LaBeouf (b. Los Angeles, USA), Nastja Säde Rönkkö (b. Helsinki, Finland), and Luke Turner (b. Manchester, UK). Over the past two years, their practice has explored connection, collaboration and creation across the networks.

Following his #ALLMYMOVIES, it is time for the new project. (yes the forgotten letters in the title are shamefull)

Shia just told the visitors that he used to shit himself when he was a kid and not go to toilets and how he used to peel the underwear of himself at night... He also declined signing an American flag for one guy because he loves his country

I have to admit to being a sucker for his "happenings."

I also worry about crazy people who might see them as opportunities for immortality.

Edit: I see Shia thinks about it too.

He had ups?

Fury had an amazing performance from him. He's also done other good performances as well, it just gets overshadowed by some of the crap he was involved with.

I was part of the hate train for him years ago too, but honestly stuff like this he's been doing recently has been fascinating. I've come to find him very entertaining and really enjoy seeing what he does. I also think we'll see some great stuff from him in the future with film/tv performance wise, but maybe I'll eat my words on that.

I live in Oxford.

I don't have any plans for tomorrow.

I am sorely tempted.

Edit: Oh, wait, it's today. That's a bit more demanding.

I'd love to chat with Shia, seems like a cool dude.

Sitting in a bar sharing stories over a couple bitters could be a good night too

Everytime he does something like this, it just makes me think about the episode of Even Stevens when his character had to sleep in a bed in the display window of a mattress store for like 3 days

This is pretty great. Shia doing the constant art/reinvent himself stuff has been pretty good. Also loving the differing views and conversations of people showing up.

Plagiarism, drunk driving, threatening people.

He's done a lot of nasty stuff.

We all have done nasty stuff at some point in our lives.

The difference is that he has the internet on his back reminding him of his mistakes

Shia is a young man that had some issues, there are many like him out there. At least hes trying to sort of move on from it and doing interesting stuff along the way

I've always liked him, ever since Even Stevens. He is a really good actor, but he's been in a lot of shit movies. I would love to see him get some good roles in some solid films.

Broken Joystick

At least you can talk. Who are you?
Has he done anything recently? For some reason I've been under (the possibly wrong) assumption that he's been a better person for a while now.

Plagiarism stuff was only three years ago, depends on what you count as recent. Spat at some cops when they tried to escort him out of a cabaret show because he was shouting people too, think that was 2014.

Oh I agree, I like the man but don't approve of the stuff he's done. Hope he continues to do weird things, and I hope he finds some sort of redemption for himself.
