I think sony just painted themselves in a corner. Its not really about having more compelling uses (though thats a part of it). I just dont think they know WHAT to really charge for at this point. They seem to have chosen 2. But the problem is, what else can you really charge for? They fundamentally give away everything any online gamer would need in any basic scenario. I can communicate, play online, download demos, surf the net and even use netflix for free. What else do I really need that they can charge for at this point?
