Ask about hair. We want to know about hair. What are they doing about it?
What if it is short however? I'm not ready for full commitment yet.

The FPS mechanics require a lot of effort and focus to perfect, and considering they need to get it perfect before SQ42, they probably need Star Marine to get a volume of data that they just aren't getting from the very few people who play around on Kareah. What would be the point in releasing SM? The modules , iirc, were to give people a taste of what is to happen in the PU. The mini PU is out, It would make more sense for them to allocate resources to get it out of alpha state.

You either go full lenght or bald space marine. There is no inbetween.
Don't think sodoes anyone think the GTX 1070/1080 is more than enough to get this game running on 4K ultra when it finally releases?
To be honest, I hope they provide decent hairstyles for both male and female models. When is the female model even coming out?
I don't really care about persistant universe hair customization (for now). I'm fine with it being more on the basic side. However, I want those manes to sparkle and flow in SQ42's cutscenes.

Also, if they can attract the fps market with something that's fun and attractive, word of mouth will spread and they can potentially get a ton of new citizens out of it.
Like I said, it seems, illogical. It would make sense if they set up that enders game station as a place in the PU and have people try it out there.
Yep, I did that. Got 200k Alpha UEC and bought all the space suits, weapons, and clothing. If it's anything like other alphas and betas I've been in, there will be a exploit like that in every alpha build until closer to release.2.4.1 is up on PTU

Database will be reset. Guess there was an exploit that allowed gaining tons of alpha UEC by shooting specific parts of the PVP station in certain circumstances.
You could always check the grey market. Prices definitely aren't as high as they once were. ;-)God, i really regret not getting a space bike. 😭

I picked up the two pack at the very last minute. I'm not sure if I'm going to get a lot of utility out of them but at least I can launch them off the back of a Starfarer for fun.God, i really regret not getting a space bike. 😭

New Bugsmashers
Notable in that it finally shows off a little bit of the new interaction system (I can't fucking wait until they get rid of 'Use').
Launched this up to check out the graphics on my gtx 1080. Is the PTU at that Port Olisar running horribly for everyone? Went to the Hangar and Arena commander and had pretty solid performance. Sorry haven't kept up with this game at all, and will probably go back to waiting for it to be complete and optimized. Though I did have fun fighting the swarm in arena commander, the flying and combat feels really good in this, like it better than what I've tried in combat of Elite.
Ya, right now they're having a problem with LOD (Level of Detail) rendering everything in an area even if it doesn't need to (such as that guy fighting pirates, as well as the pirates, 1 million km away).
Makes performance hell, will hopefully be fixed in an upcoming patch.
You're thinking small man. You have an Idris. Just think how many bikes can fit in there! Veritable swarm of space bikes!
Melted my starfarer for a Dragon Cat package. I don't think I have any regrets other than missing my special captains bunk.
That Captain's bunk really is something. I don't feel any particular need for the Caterpillar myself, though. I'm keeping the Starfarer for possible space fueling needs for myself (I have way too many big ships to worry about) and for the org. Or profit. Either way the ship's really grown on me. I still need a dedicated cargo platform, though. I don't know why I'm slacking so much on unmelting my Hull C package. Maybe I'm just waiting for another shot at the Merchantman.
No, you see, your entire crew are the space biker gang! Nobody would mess with an unmanned Idris owned by a space biker gang.Yeah, but like, how many more bunks would I need to house the entire space biker gang? Two riders per bike! You know how fast we're gonna go through the food rations? What a logistical nightmare!
I keep getting an infinite loading screen whenever I try to jump into any of the two areas. Anyone know what the problem might be?
I had this bug during the 2.4 PTU tests. It's some Windows service or process which doesn't play nice with the game. I couldn't stop it in Windows 10 so my only (temporary) solution was to launch the game after a pc restart.I keep getting an infinite loading screen whenever I try to jump into any of the two areas. Looking good so far, I'm sure me and the other guy who owns it are gonna like the final product. Well, other than the part where it doesn't do anything useful in-game until the appropriate mechanics are put in place.Herald updates:

Is the grey market frowned upon by the devs? As in, will they do anything against the accounts involved? I'm thinking of selling my LTI Constellation Andromeda and LTI Superhornet at cost or loss.
(also, do the mods frown upon that on GAF?)
