Any male on my friendlist with this nonsense is going to be deleted. Its one thing to like a little girls cartoon, but this grown men obsession is not healthy and not something I want around me, even online. Its too weird for me.

They deserve better than you anyway.

"oh fuck they like a thing, oh heeeeeaaaaiil naw"

Seems kinda late for new avatar items, but if they carry over to Xbox One, sure.

As for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, I started watching it because all the hub-bub Fighting is Magic was making during the Evo donation drive (and that's also why I started playing Skullgirls!). It was a fun kid's show. But then the season ended and I stopped caring. So I guess I never really participated in the Internet culture.

You sound like a rather unpleasant person anyways. Heaven forbid somebody likes something you don't.

What if they have a daughter, and they buy put it up there for her?

Doesnt matter anyway, the mindset of disliking someone for enjoying something like this means that your a douchebag anyway.

I do have to say, the Rainbow Dash model is a bit low poly. It's cute enough but I'm sure pets have looked smoother in the past?

How come Care Bears aren't popular like Ponies? They're basically the same thing.

Care Bears has a bit of a cult following - womens merch for the series usually sells well! But the series have never quite managed to hit a good balance of sugary cute sweetness with parent/adult appeal. The CBS show from 2004 was kinda close but always strayed back into kiddy cute territory, even when it had the odd awesome moment (it's antagonist was a midget reject care bear in a mech suit, I mean come on!)

The Care Bears Hub revival focused mostly on kids only, it doesn't have the kind of broad appeal built into it that MLP: FiM has.

ATTN all female MLP fans on this person's friendlist: you're safe!

In other words, the Care Bears weren't sexualized.

Rule 34: if it exists, porn has already been made of it on the internet. This is as true of care bears as anything else. (seriously don't search for care bears on fanart sites, you WILL run into some squicky stuff)

Also way to imply female characters can only be popular if people want to bang them. I'm in it for the story, good animation and characterisation personally, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

There's not much point in mass sterilisation of bronies, loving cartoon ponies is the best form of contraception since playing World of Warcraft.

Yup, you're definitely not alone.

Just a quick google search says otherwise.

I guess this is great for bronies who want to deck out their xmiiboxtar. Will these be limited to those with their gender set to female like other items?

Bronies scare me. They're right up there with moe/waifu/whatever obsessed anime fans. I like a good anime, but some people are weird about these things.

Truly scary
creepy as hell
stuff.

Turned on my 360 just for this.

Going on a shopping spree now.

EDIT: HAHA I LOVE how these items got their own pannel in the "LIFESTYLE Collections".

Yup, My Little Pony is a life style I guess.

I can't say I'm a fan of the show. The few episodes I watched with my sister seemed pretty standard kid's cartoon fare. Still, it's cool that people who like the show will have this.

It absolutely invalidates any point he was trying to make about anime

No it doesn't anime has a lot of porn,Mlp has some too. People who like anime, like myself should not criticize others on having a lot of porn. Because the thing I like has a lot of porn.

who are we to judge here

You point only furthers his point, the amount of pornography one show has to an entire genre is negligible.

I want to say this is the worst thing they could have, but they have a whole collection of "gangster" sagging pants for your avatar...

You have absolutely no idea what point I'm making, and you are perpetuating the same nonsense the guy I quoted is, so I'm not going to waste my time further.

And how does it invalidate it? I'd love to hear it.
The equavalent is e.g.
"People with Kyon avatars shouldn't throw stones"

To put it in terms familiar to you, what you are saying is
"People with TV series avatars shouldn't throw stones"

It's nonsense, anime isn't one thing it's a genre, a fucking broad one at that.

So you are talking nonsense? There was no point to your post, maybe you quoted the wrong person. Or is this backtracking, maybe you misunderstood the thing you were quoting.

Sorry, but that doesn't invalidate anything. The fact remains that anime has a reputation for having some of the most outlandish things to be obsessed about and have turned out some rather ridiculous things in terms of pornography. Trying to say, "Bronies are the scum of the Earth with R34" and then having an avatar of a little girl from an anime series knowing the connotations of pedophilia and how hypocritical that is, is just a tad ironic to me.

Kinda neat. Such a shame that show nosedived in quality as of late... I would almost like to have a Twilight Sparkle avatar pet if they made one, but if they did they would give her wings. And that's terrible.

Joking right? The people with anime avatars really shouldn't be throwing stones in their especially fragile glass houses.

You have a Nintendo icon...

Everyone in this thread is posting on a semi-exclusive VIDEO GAME Forum. Think about that for a second. I think "glass houses" applies to everyone here.
No, I don't like the show just to get that out of the way.

I find this chart wildly appropriate now.
