Tried the Scarygirl demo and pulled the trigger for 800 pts, I thought it would be yet another puzzle platformer but it's more like a straight up platformer with lots of butt kicking which is more up my alley lately. I like that you collect gems and upgrade moves/buy stuff. The music is great, voice acting is okay (not Bastion level but basically mostly a narrator who is kind of telling story), story is weird enough to make me want to figure out what the heck is going on. The only control gripe I have is that sometimes it's tricky to swing from hook to hook, but the trick is to not spaz out on buttons and it's fine. If those sections weren't a little tricky the game would probably be too easy.
I also have Haunt ready to try out, don't really know what to expect for that one but that the creator of Parappa the Rappa made it.
