i'm not in favor of thunderdome, sorry splinter. i don't think forcing us to choose between two people on day 1 will give us a much better result compared to voting at will.

especially when neither of their names rhyme with blusk boulder

thunderdome is shit tier strategy. no idea why anyone thinks it will work, especially when the only serious thunderdome from a PR ended up being town on town and ended up with a powerful town PR have to bullshit his way out of a terrible result

why? Nobody is steering us (aside from your efforts to do so), so mafia can't be leading us to a worse than random position; nobody really seems to be co-ordinating, so mafia can't be wagoning. People seem to have a wide variety of reasonably good reads. This is a good day 1; you are making it worse.

If I agreed with you I'd still be sat on toma getting no support, and any one of the multiple disinterested townies would be getting lynched at ~4 votes.

I disagree, so I'm trying something - anything - else.

And reasonably good reads are you kidding me? Earlier you townread me for saying "neutrals wouldn't lead". Yeah it's true but so what?

Yes. Voted Exodu5 because I don't think a ttk or a lynch on you are happening today. It's also why I asked about Dusk, because he is another viable option that I think people would go for.

Also Exodu5's last post about being intentionally MIA doesn't sit right with me.

What, you mean like the disinterested townie that is Exodu5, who your vote currently sits on? Wow, such a good job you're doing there. The reason you sat on toma with no support is because you made a terrible case and nobody was convinced. You can't blame town for that.

People's reads are fine for it being day 1. What did you think was going to happen, someone was going to rock up and provide a great logically valid and conclusive argument for the entire scum team and the what colour their underwear is?

(1) mafia splinter wants everyone to vote between two candidates picked by me, catvoca, and himself.

(2) town splinter wants everyone to vote between two candidates picked by me, catvoca, and himself.

Crab and Hyperactivity think it's (2). I think it's interesting to look at situations this way.

I'm referring to his. Timeaisis was the only one to really argue against it. Most didn't respond, a few gave vague agreements without a vote.

Given that I've called the most obvious role in this game, and I've breadcrumbed it, I would think that should be considered pretty iron clad as I'm not going to be getting any counter claims.

Well this is really shitty. Man, when I saw some of your breadcrumbed posts the first time Exod5 I thought they were a little strange but I just shook it off and never gave it a second thought. Damn.

This has helped me further my thoughts on Dragonz though. I've always sort of been in this place where I'm not sure whether she's just a pretty agreeable townie posting a lot, or whether she was scum trying to fit in. I posted this http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=206236899&postcount=65 pretty detailed post earlier showing all the ways her reads were just parroting other peoples posts. I ended up switching my vote since I thought her response to my accusation was strong, one that wasn't too defensive and acknowledged her playstyle, while I also thought we should focus on less active players.

But here we are with the less active player-strategy backfiring, and I feel I need to go back to my scummy read of WhereAreMahDragonz as once again she is on a bandwagon, here one that we pretty much know is against a townie. She is also conveniently away for the deadline and is unlikely to be changing her vote. I know his might look bandwagony since I think others have tried to start votes against her before, but this is my strongest scum read, and gives us a lot of information if she is lynched.

What do you guys think?

I trust WAMD less than anyone, and starting to think I ruled her out too easily. She has the most padded post count (ignoring Ouro), and so many scummy posts. I think I was wrong about Timeaisis, and TTK has only ever been a weak read.

nin's vote on me is opportunistic as fuck, I think he's scum for that alone
