I am sure this had been brought up, but doesn't it look like he is shooting one guy, that is already in a shootout with someone else in the doorway? I cannot tell if the guy is shooting another member of The Order, and you flanked him to shoot from behind, or if the is shooting some other NPC from "the streets."

It appears our protagonist is in the middle of some other battle of some sort, where people are already fighting each other.

This stuff better come out on time, since it'll be 10:00PM my time when the embargo ends. I wonder if Polygon will make another rookie mistake?

Just 6 more hours. I assume that's also when the press previews will come out right? Looking forward to waking up to the reveal.

Really liking the art style and period this game takes place in. Graphics look like they're going to be insane. And this is RAD'S first PS4 game, stuff coming later in this gen will probably blow my mind!

Loved every part that did not involve shooting. Shooting looked good, but was too generic, so I think shooting scenes were chosen badly. Great. Much exite. Mucho mucho exite.
Edit: Oh this was not leaked footage thread. Anyway. Much exite for real media blowout.

Edit - looks like it has the same gameplay clip we've already seen.

And they compare it to Ryse, Gears, and Heavy Rain. I didn't like the comparisons at first, but if you take the best of each of those titles and mash it up into one then you get a pretty great game. :)

That brief gameplay preview makes me a little disappointed that there is no MP. This setting and combat style seems like it could have worked well for MP.

IGN preview is up and cities some poor performance, and that's coming from one of the PS guys who have been backing this game for awhile. Still awhile to go before release though.

Yep, looks like the gameplay is quite traditional. Somewhat of a bummer for me. It will probably still be fun though. I'll enjoy it probably more than I should with this eye candy and the cool setting.

Traditional doesn't bother me too much in this sense at least. I've said since Uncharted that they could make that exact style of game in a western setting, a sci-fi setting, a fantasy setting, etc and I would buy and love each and every one. I loved Super Metroid just as much as Symphony of the Night, both very traditional and samey, but both equally awesome and, most importantly, fun to play. (Plus this is one of my favorite time periods for literature so to see it so gloriously rendered in a game is beyond exciting for me. If you like this setting, check out Drood, by Dan Simmons--excellent novel about Dickens' unfinished work and his relationship with Wilkie Collins. Brilliant writing. The first 200 pages or so are some of the most atmospheric and engrossing words I've read.)

So we're not getting more than that in terms of gameplay? I thought we'd see something more substantial.

I suppose they're waiting for E3 to show a live demo?
