Look guys, I wish Persona 5 was a PS4 game too, I really truly do. I also wish I had the body of Dwayne Johnson--You don't always get what you want.


Please don't turn this into a thing, that is, whenever P5 is brought up it becomes a platform war.


Let's all just be happy this game is coming.

My point is that Atlus is always late to the punch when it comes to mainline Persona games. We should be used to it by now. Hoping for a PS4 port will most likely be in vein.

I don't have a PS3 since July. I don#t keep that old shit around. Was sick of it already back then.

PS3 is no PS2.

Although you may be right, I totally forget how behind they were releasing a PS2 game in 2007. I guess I shouldn't be surprised when the only HD game they've made is some crummy puzzle game.

Excited for Persona Q and P5.

Persona 5 is pretty much the only game I can think of that would make me buy a console (again) just to play it. I'm ready.

What games do you play on the PS4 or XBONE, then? I really don't see any game with as much potential as Persona 5 coming out in the next year for either of the two systems.

2015? Really??? Ugh!

There's a reason I didn't play Persona 4 until recently. By the time it came out my PS2 was long gone. Guess I'll play Persona 5 in 2020 when I'm looking for a nostalgia trip with my PS3

I didn't say that you were. Those complaining about it being a PS3 game and considering it a travesty know who they are. And this generation lasting too long for your liking has nothing to do with the developer's established habits.

I find myself looking forward to all of them, Persona Q has especially picqued my interest as of late. Persona 5 has been a long time coming.

2015 was basically expected.

That being said at some point Atlus needs to do something to break their current cycle. They won't be effectively done with this game till sometime in 2015. Even if you count people just working on the Japanese release that means they won't be done till late 2014.

This means anything new that's happening from the Persona team isn't gonna start happening till 2015 at the earliest which again means we probably won't see another Persona game till the very end of the new consoles life cycles.

I can't help but think it would be more beneficial for everyone for the games to come out when the generation is really in full swing vs waning off.

Really happy to hear that all four games will be making it over! Best news this week and it's only Tuesday. Time to save up money for a big year ahead. After all the issues involving Index last year it's really great that the Atlus as well as their localization branch seemed to have recovered!

Sorry, Europe...

I'm probably gonna whine about this one for a while since I was really excited for P5 and was hoping that I'd actually be able to play it as soon as it released. Oh well, there will be a port made eventually, just like with P4.


Still really hope they announce it's also coming to PS4 at launch though.

Yes, give it to me Atlus. Persona 5 - The RPG of 2015 is confirmed.

I'm really excited about PQ too. It seriously looks like one of the prettiest games on 3DS. Such a smart artstyle choice.

And P4UU yessssss. I'm ready to get back into Yosuke's speed.

Well, alright then. It's your choice and I respect that. You hate the PS3 more than you want Persona 5, it's simple.

Personally I think the PS3 is much more intersting than the PS4 in 2014, so it won't be hard for me.

I'll get a PS4 when I can actually play great games on it. I'm talking about Uncharted, FFXV, KH3, MGSV:TPP. Right now I don't see any games that I think are going to be even remotely as good as Persona 5 will probably be. Besides, you buy a next-gen console later and you probably save money.

Hopefully it's region free so I can import. I don't doubt Europe will have to wait 6+ months for it after all.
