You want all that work to be done then have it ruined by a non-cinematic framerate? 24fps, or bust.
I watch a 60fps cutscene and I feel like I'm visual fast-forwarding on my Super VHS player.

i probably missed it but.. Why was everyone using the end of the shot, with character blurred, to compare the game with a shot of the PS3 version, where the characters were focused, when you can actually compare the models with the beginning of the shot ?
I mean this.
How does it compare to the PS3 model in the same scene ?
I'll take some XMB screenshots, that PS3 shot above looks like shit.

The video is yeah. Doesn't tell us anything how the game is running. But I'm sure they will get close to locked.Others have already confirmed, but I dragged the .mov into Premiere Pro just for proof, it's 60fps:

It's difficult to say this without propagating the same idea - if people could stop making a huge deal out of a very, very small part of the tutorial where Joel shows Ellie how to use a gun, then we might get through this without ruining the game for new players.
Ready at Dawn nicked the black bars from the ICE team, and nobody else knows how to do them.

I'm excited for you folks enjoying it for the first time but i also feel bad for you. Now that the game is at 60 fps it's going to take half as long to complete it. You're really missing out on the full experience that way.

PS4 has no guns.
If it's not white text on a black background, then it's from the game, that's about the last 25 seconds of the video. You will gain nothing from watching it really. It's the same the same way movie trailers show you loads of important bits, sometimes even the ending, and until you watch the actual movie they are just meaningless scenes.
It's not a particularly graphically lovely part of the game, when there are so many stunning parts throughout the whole thing.

the spoiler moment is the only game footage in the teaser. nothing else is worth watching...the rest is just "GOTY" quotes
Just turn the audio off and play the theme to Jurassic Park.
ND knows TLoU should be played on survivor, so they had no equipment left. That PS3 Joel is just loaded with equipment.

It is just one shot of the game and I would consider that shot to spoil a really memorable scene. The rest of the trailer is just a list of GOTY awards
Well obviously, but they probably wouldn't have put out the video in 60fps and said they are targeting that if they didn't intend for the game to be 60fps.

LOL. The trailer IS the "spoiler" moment. If you are really sensitive about it, I'd suggest to not watch it at all.

Mark Cerny will send you a picture of him high-fiving, if you send him an email with a photo of yourself, the disc and a newspaper with today's date on.
Don't ask Druckman for a discount though, he's liable to come round your house and shoot you while you sleep.
It's also not an area the player is able to get to, so not something that really warrants huge upgrades. Hopefully ND has a real comparison video lined up soon showing gameplay areas.

Yeah, but it would make more sense to judge the graphics so extensively until we have some more footage. People are acting like this footage is completely indicative of the game's PS4 look.
