Replay Expo is fun. Playing sets vs Pro Fluke in AE2012 ATM. Rufus vs Fuerte is an odd matchup. I think I am approaching it wrong...

I hope that console Ultra has some more little buffs for Rufus.

Hearthstone is a ton of fun. I don't get a chance to play any games at all, but the fact that the iPad version is a first class citizen (I believe I heard it was designed for iPad first, but the PC version was out first, no?) and has cross-platform play makes it an incredibly enjoyable experience.

The moment I saw Goblin was in the movie, I knew that was it for Gwen. That's a pivotal moment for Peter. No way they weren't doing that.

Decapre is a lot weirder than I thought she would be.

Her moves are really strange:

Scramble is charge back, forward to start it. Even the ones that go up at an angle. Her dive kicks out of it aren't really that good at least from what I could see.

The rush punchy thing is a hundred hands type input; The ex version seemed really safe at least though.

Her air spiral arrow is decent as an air to air from what I tried. It's good at sniping bad jump ins. What is REALLY weird is you can do an EX one almost on the ground.

Her standing far fierce seems really good, but then again she has cammys stand roundhouse, so I don't know why you'd use standing fierce over that.

Ultra 2 is still really fast. Not 3 frames but maybe 5 or 6?

Ultra 1 can get stuffed. Like just hit her on start up and the ball goes away like rose ultra 2.

Other ultra thoughts:

Elena seems kinda meh. Her normals are good at hitting from odd angles and stuffing certain moves, but that seemed about all she had. I didn't see anyone really using her well.

Hugo is ok; Seemed like it was really easy to poke him out of his not SPD command throws. His stunned hitbox is still weird. I saw a guy miss two focuses against a stunned hugo.

Rolento's ultra 2 is at least 6 frames start up. I think combo said 7f. I saw tokido and another of the Japanese players trying it, and the one playing rolento was VERY upset that he couldn't punish Akuma's overhead with it.

i was trying to remember while watching the sequence whether I had read something about emma being cast in ASM3, altho even if she is it could be something like Leary in ASM2

but yeah the clocktower sequence is really well done barring its setup. might have been more well suited for ASM3?

I meant the comment about him having better footsie tools making him too much like Ryu so they had to scale back the buffs.

It's very reminiscent of what Capcom did with IM. Instead of improving his mobility to make him a competitive character they went the opposite way of gutting his air mobility because they didn't want him to be too much like Magneto.

I hope more USF4 testing info shows up considering that it's at two tournaments at the same time for a whole weekend.

The Dee Jay stuff Dieminion talked about is the stuff that's already listed aside from the st. LP to st. MP which could have already been there like he guessed. Guy actually being good according to Tokido is nice, at least one character made it out of the SF4 character ghetto.

No one figuring out Decapre yet still is a sign that she's not amazing as I could tell from the start, but I'm still going for her along with Hugo with the new characters. Still looking at Makoto, E. Ryu for characters to go back to that I used to play, and possibly trying out Ibuki and Yun for the first time.

I hope people are still bugging Capcom for the option of turning on Edition Select for online matches too.

Oh, that wasn't really the issue- they were just plain stupid in their current form. No one was asking for Gouken's sweep.

This is more like complaining that UMvC3 Magneto is "Fatneto".

Jago : "Wesker and Dante are much better than Vergil. Vergil is too unsafe, can't cancel normals on whiff, has to be careful about hit confirms, too reliant on meter to do anything and has no air mobility unless in DT. Upper Mid tier at best."

The best was when all the Mag players were disappearing only for someone to sit down and play with Repel/Attract/Gravitation moves and realize dude was still packing bullshit of the highest order.

Never forget Yipes "Vergil will be top 15/20 at best". Meanwhile Japan was all on that anchor Vergil train from urley.

People would use him if Magneto AND Doom didn't exist in the game. And if he had a proper ground dash like Nova/Magneto. And if he had a safe DHC.

I don't think he's a bad character either but he has the issue of "why play this when you can play that". When IM has to compete against Doom for support slot or Magneto for point, it's no wonder why no one picks him. Only people who use IM are those who use Cap, X23 or a team where they need both Missiles and a Beam.
