Absolutly terrible video.
I was thinking "okay, everything we have seen so far is uninteresting, this is time to show what the game truly is about".
... And it's the same.
It's a fucking generic TPS with a grey background.
You can explain me that the setting is why it's ugly, but it won't change the fact that it's ugly.
Even the Gears had more colour. Here there is only grey, grey everywhere, and almost no nuance.
The buildings look generic too, same goes for the presentation, or the level design. it looks boring, just boring, I don't see anything interesting in this video.
People will obviously call me crazy "but man look at this cinematic feeling ! look at these effects" but I don't care.
E3 is my last hope for this game, right now I am more excited even about Driveclub (which I don't really care about).
I'm sorry, but are you really complaining about Victorian London having an overcast with all the building architecture looking the same in a very, VERY small and close area? You do realize how ridiculous you sound complaining about that, a very accurate and true to life description, right? And how is the presentation generic? Not many other games have gone about purposely trying to look like a literal cinematic experience. And also, what is "generic TPS gameplay?" We've barely seen anything. It's a third person shooter with a cover system, with some QTEs. That's all we've seen, and very little at that. This is the equivalence of complaining about an action movie having a huge explosion or a racing game having cars that go fast.
The game has done nothing for me from what we've seen, in terms of being a "brand new experience," but to me it seems like you just don't like TPS or are tired of them. In any case, we still haven't seen anything to even fairly assess the game. The video was stupid, because it just showed us that the scripted AI was set up terribly from a game design perspective, but we STILL haven't seen shit.
