Watch_Dogs |OT| PS4 would probably melt trying to do this

So besides the graphics, is there any difference between last gen and current gen versions of the game?
Current gen versions have:
- Cockpit camera for vehicles
- Additional multiplayer modes
- More pedestrians on street

Might be a few more things, but nothing too major I reckon.

Is there anything to actually do outside of the missions? Is there any point to just exploring? That's part of open world games, IMO.. looking for stuff. GTAV was rife with stuff like that, I could spend hours doing absolutely nothing productive and enjoying every second of it.

Can I do that in WD?

There is a ton of stuff to do.

after 4 hours of playing it..

So far it's okay
The story missions are good
The hideouts are fun
Awesome shooting system
Great graphics
The side missions just boring
Bad driving system
Awful people react on street
Repetitive environment and people
Very bad physics

Game looks super sharp! That's good to see. More shots from the xbox one version please!

I posted this many pages back, but - who is preordering on PC but hasn't yet? I have an extra key from my new graphics card and I'd love it if someone would get me Wolfenstein and I can give them my key.

It would be a massive help.

Man something about Watch_Dogs' visuals still bug me, even the super spec PC shots. The word looks bland, like something obviously created for a game. It doesn't feel lived in, almost like a city built inside a vacuum where everything is too clean. There was haze over the 2012 footage that, along with the light halos, brought some grit to the visual style that feels totally missing now except from some of the more DoF smeared river shots.

Any recent PS4 footage uploaded? Wanna see footage without youtube goggles.

Yup here are some, not sure if these were posted before, but PS Access posted lengthy gameplay videos for Watch Dogs PS4 today and yesterday and here they are:

Screw it I was gonna wait until I got a PS4 but at the end the graphics don't really bother me on 360. Gonna play this and Mario Kart to keep me sane until during the wait for E3.

Most of these images are from the cleaner downtown area and-while I do agree that things have been taken out (namely some post process and DOF effects- other areas of the game look quite "lived in".

So how are we thinking this is going to Metacritic? Low 80s? What do you think reviewers are going to say overall?

High 80s, I think. Points off on the story.

How does it compare to GTAV in your opinion?

Am I pointing fingers and laughing at anyone for liking it? I'm just stating why I'm a tad skeptical. I feel more positive about Watch_Dogs than I did a month ago if it's any consolation.

More like ridiculing and questioning integrity:

The fact that AC3 received 9s and 10s considering how half-baked and broken it was is mind-boggling.

I loved acIII, btw.

I understand how console players are getting the game early (small stores not respecting street dates), but how are PC gamers getting it?

Some CD key places have been giving them out early, and some stores are giving PC copies out just as early as consoles. It requires Uplay, but it seems if you have the CD key it will just let you download it anyway.

Opinions are fine. But the reviews of the game didn't match those differing opinions, they were consistently, and universally, very positive about the game. The only mentions made of AC3's shortcomings were made a year later, in AC4's reviews, for the sake of comparison.. not in the original AC3 reviews. .

I played them back to back, and there is at least as much jank and brokeness and irritating tailing/eavesdropping missions in IV as in III. Thats why the metacritic scores are almost the same. IDK where this idea comes from that III was shit and IV is amazing.

Can someone please answer my question about the different special editions and versions. Which one is the best to get with the most content. The OP seems to suggest some versions have different content then others, with the psn version having the most shit. Should I go downloadable or stick with my reserve at gamestop?
No one? :(
