5pur5 blowout the Heat, in Miami...no one gets interviewed by ESPN at the game's end. LOL

Yeah, they salty.

Why wouldn't ESPN/ABC want this thing to drag out again? They have exclusive coverage rights. They want this to go to 7 games more than anything else.

And win or lose the story will be the Heat, because LeBron = ratings from both fans and haters.

ESPN isn't salty they are damn smart and #1 for a reason. TV 101

ESPN gotta pick up their boy again for the next couple days. Defense mode.

It was Chalmers fault mode. Where was Bosh? mode.

LeBron didn't have a great game but he wasn't awful. He was actually playing really well when the lead just ballooned.

Chalmers has been awful this whole playoffs. Bosh was nowhere to be seen after a great game 2.

I don't know what you guys expect? You want them to roast LeBron for having an average game by his standards? You do realize that even the greats have so so games in the finals. Every game is not some career defining legacy cementing statement.

And this is why the Heat aren't in the Spurs league

Moving splitter to the bench and not have him and Duncan on the court, start Diaw, series is over

They were leaving with 5 mins left and they have the best player in the fucking NBA. You don't leave. I know you don't understand this because you're a Heat fan but you don't leave a championship game until the last second ticks.
Who are you telling this to? I'm not at the arena. That's the whole point. You act like this is the opinion of Heat fans, but not one Heat fan in here would agree with leaving early. What does that tell you? What represents the fan base better, a fraction of the fans who sit in the celebrity seats, or fans of the team you actually can talk to? I know, you've got your preconceived notion of the city, but fans here are no different from fans anywhere else. Shocking, I know. PEACE.

pop really need to hound the spurs for always leaving the heat's perimeter shooters wide ass fucking open.
you don't need 3-4 guys packing the lane all the damn time.

and charles barkley doesn't think the spurs could win 1 more game before tonight.
what a fucking tool.

It's not even an upset if the Spurs win.

I know that Spurs were favorites going in this year. I meant it in the way that Heat have been the dominant team in the league the last four years, getting to the finals four times and winning two championships.

whats the point of talking about half way fans?

Anyhow good game from the Spurs, I wonder did Pop game plan for the bench to carry this game?

Yeah, I could not believe my eyes when I saw Rashard Lewis open for a 3 pointer for the third time, back to back.

Dude, it's traditional to interview the winning team at the close of a game. You think if the Heat had won, they would have skipped that segment?

LOL. ESPN has coddled Bron Breezy for years. This is salt, bro-mizzle.

LeBron is going to have whatever Skip Bayless has to say on repeat until Thursday.

Most reporters ask such dumb-ass questions. Fuck 'em.

So what if they ask stupid questions? That is their job and its his job, as per NBA rules, to reply to them.

Treating them like shit is being an asshole. Micheal Kay (Yankees play by play and ESPN radio host here in NYC) was furious about it the other day. He treats even people like Dorris Burke like shit because they have a job to do.

If he really has that much of a problem then complain to the league. He seems to get a kick out of putting reporters down. Don't know why more in the media don't call him out for this BS.

Spo gets asked the same questions and he offers a short nice answer. Pop doesn't have to talk down reporters.

Leonard is as likable as the Miami arena fans are unlikeable.

I don't hate the Heat team but the fans that show up at the game suck and don't deserve this.

Time to have fun and look back at all the posters that learned nothing from these playoffs and how crazy these series can be:

Fucking Miami. Will be shocked if they lose the series now.

They can't close out when Lebron's on the court in 4th. They're not winning this series.

accept your lebron future fjordson

Spurs deserve to lose

Gut is telling me Heat 3peat.

This is why you don't trust the spurs in the finals. The spurs are the less athletic team so every free throw for them counts as almost double in a way but the spurs are not clutch free throw shooters. My point is, never trust the spurs.

Spurs will be lucky to go back to San Antonio tied 2-2

Hopefully people at least stop saying Kawhi Leonard is an up and coming star.

It's not 2-3-2 anymore. The closeout gm 6 will be in Miami

Spurs aren't winning in Miami

Oh I think it goes 6 with Miami winning.

3-1 coming back from Miami. Spurs win gm 5 and get closed out in 6

Yeah I don't see the Heat losing at home in Miami. Heat will win game 3 and 4. SA will take game 5, but the Heat will close out the series in Miami in game 6. Hope I'm wrong though. Spurs NEED to win one of the next 2 games to have a shot

Spurs are lucky it's not 0-2. They won't win in Miami

think miami will win this in 6 games now

heat will win the next two games at home, lose game 5, win game 6 at home

Just wish there were some actual good teams in the league right now to challenge the Heat. This is probably the weakest league I've seen besides 1999.

there was more, I just got bored.

That's an oversimplification. In game 2, the Heat tore them up inside the paint because the Spurs didn't defend the lane sufficiently. Even Bosh was scoring from inside. When was the last time that happened?

Including the people in 400? Why does anyone care about the fans? Serious question. What's with insecurity?

Hey Heat fans, any of you give a shit about any other fan base out there? No.

The only fans we ever have beef with is NY fans, and that's because there are so many of them living down here. But we don't care if they show up to MSG or not. Y'all need to worry about us and worry about what our team keeps doing to your team. Because none of you can out on a jersey to change that outcome. PEACE.

It is and they interviewed them after game 1 no?

You think they purposely didn't because they at a personal level are mad? Think about what you are saying here. They love to build athletes up and then cover them as they fall down (if they fall down). Its all and only about the ratings for them. They aren't protecting Lebron. If Miami loses this series, they will spend a week talking about how it hurts his legacy, what he should do next, and how he isn't Jordan.

Spurs might have declined the interview or their players went into the locker room. I don't know. You got guys complaining reporters ask dumb questions and now you are accusing ESPN as if its some single person who got salty and refused to interview. Cmon man that's just stupid.

BTW not only did they interview the Spurs after game 1 they also had some 1 on 1 interview with Parker for the lead up to game 2.

LOL what? Where were you after game 2?

Not in the same league when they are in the finals and beat the Spurs last finals?

WHAT?

I feel the same. The Spurs are a great team.

Yeah they play great team ball.

So the Heat.

I don't understand the notion that the Spurs are some sort of honorable team playing the right way. I mean they have beautiful ball movement but at their best that is what Miami is too. Miami isn't good when they revert back to iso ball like they did tonight.

Both teams are models for efficiency and passing the ball to the open guy. Spurs also flop, foul, and complain.

Lebron could have used some

They aren't protecting LeBron James on ESPN.

Ok.

Coming from a Bulls fan, I can say without bias and completely objectively that Miami has the worst fans in the NBA.
It's crazy how huge he's been, everyone assumed he was just joining for a ring

He's stepped up but it can't last forever
Got him on my 2K MyTeam. Can't make a three pointer worth shit.

You can do this after game4 too. People act like this isn't the closest series in forever. Last year went 7 games with every game close. This game was a 25pt blowout, but everyone was still nervous until the last 3 minutes. This is a long series. Heat fans only felt relief after game2, not elation. Now it's another 2 days of avoiding radio and this thread, before a nerve racking game4. This is why I wanted OKC. I'm sure we're going to win this, but playing the Thunder would've been easier than this. PEACE.

In all seriousness, it took Lebron probably 2 Finals to get his first 29 points+ game. I don't think he scored that much in Spurs '07, and Mavs '11

i decided to look this up on basketball reference. in 2007 against the spurs he scored 25 twice, but no more than that. in 2011 against the mavs his highest scoring game was 24. 2012 against the thunder he had three games of 29+. spurs last year he had three games of 29+.

People notice good and bad fans during live sporting events. Heat fans have sucked in the Lebron era. Don't remember them being this bad when it was Shaq or Wade but maybe they were. It is what it is.

Speaking of dogshit :lol at those reporters so far. These guys are worse than gaming reporters and it is the NBA Finals.

In my defense, showing up for 1 game out of 3 doesn't make Kawhi a star. I'll happily eat crow if he goes on to win FMVP.

Based on?

Crowd noise? Attendance? You talking out of your ass?

I'm gonna just put people on ignore who say dumb shit like this based on zero knowledge. Check the facts about the Heat crowd in the regular and post seasons. This is one of the arenas teams hate the most. It's not because we're the worst fans. Saying that is fucking ignorant. PEACE.

Man if the spurs didn't choke in game 2, whoa

Rashard Lewis has barely played all season and isn't being asked to do much on offense out side of spot up 3 point shooter.

Its not that shocking. Its exactly why they have guys like these. They can't afford any other young players with the money tied up in the big 3.

If you notice, I am not on that board as I watch a LOT of basketball and always pegged this to go 7.

I was just having a bit of fun after the silliness that took place after the Spurs lost the last game. Doom and gloom posters have been out in full force after almost every big game these playoffs.

Which I get, most have done it, me included. Just thought it would be fun to look at.
