Based on?

Crowd noise? Attendance? You talking out of your ass?

I'm gonna just put people on ignore who say dumb shit like this based on zero knowledge. Check the facts about the Heat crowd in the regular and post seasons. This is one of the arenas teams hate the most. It's not because we're the worst fans. Saying that is fucking ignorant. PEACE.

People notice good and bad fans during live sporting events. Heat fans have sucked in the Lebron era. Don't remember them being this bad when it was Shaq or Wade but maybe they were. It is what it is.

Speaking of dogshit :lol at those reporters so far. These guys are worse than gaming reporters and it is the NBA Finals.
Attendance is at an all time high. What are you basing this on?

You know as well as I do that's purely conjecture that is pretty easily refuted by any look at numbers. PEACE.

You guys fucking left the arena when it was a 5 point closeout game in the fucking Finals.

Even if you lose, stay there to support your squad. Nerp. Miami "fans" were out!

Rashard Lewis has barely played all season and isn't being asked to do much on offense out side of spot up 3 point shooter.

Its not that shocking. Its exactly why they have guys like these. They can't afford any other young players with the money tied up in the big 3.

That's true, lazy spurs leaving 3 point shooters open

Wade needs a huge pay cut, that's all I know.
Melo coming to take over D:

I was just having a bit of fun after the silliness that took place after the Spurs lost the last game. Doom and gloom posters have been out in full force after almost every big game these playoffs.

Which I get, most have done it, me included. Just thought it would be fun to look at.

It's a 7 game series played over a 2 week period...can't get too high or too low.

I had to stop because the 2010 took years off my life.

The fans in the arena are whatever, but I don't think it's cool to bag on people for predictions, especially Cloudy, who actually sticks to his goddamn convictions

And yeah, this feels like 7 again unless the Heat lose on Thursday, and I don't see that happening

Also Pimpwerx continues his streak of ending his posts with PEACE, thus ensuring that I want to declare WAR on him

Consistently see empty seats at the start of games, they are not particularly loud nor smart in when to be loud, and they have a tendency to leave early.

OKC and Spurs both have fantastic fans. So have the Pacers this playoffs.

Just what I have seen. Maybe you and others see it differently. Doubt it though.

They aren't protecting LeBron James on ESPN.

Ok.

Prove to me how they are protecting him?

They talk about him no matter what. HE IS THE STORY. When he was losing in Cleveland they would talk about him 24/7 and psycho analyze his every move and word.

Better yet tell me why would they protect him? From what?

You guys just don't see to get that the 4 time league mvp, the consensus best player in the league, and 2 time back to back champ is going to get the most spotlight and the benefit of the doubt.

He had one average game out of 3 so far and you want ESPN to do what? They don't work like that. ESPN isn't run by Heat fans or some Lebron fan.

Seriously your understanding of this seems childish. You want the analysts on ESPN to rip into Lebron for what? What narrative would you like them to push? That he sucks?

I wonder if they have articles about each fanbase when they leave early.

I could be wrong but I do remember the Thunder fans leaving early in a game.

Where was the outrage then?

Time to have fun and look back at all the posters that learned nothing from these playoffs and how crazy these series can be:

there was more, I just got bored.

Lol why did you quote my post? All I said was never trust the spurs. I didn't say that they will for sure lose the finals.

As someone rooting for the Heat I don't see it brah.

Not going to 7. Heat hadn't lost at home. They just did. Their bounce back streak is about to snap.

Spurs go home up 3-1 and close it out in game 5.
Guess who the last team to best us at home in the playoffs was. He he.

I'm not saying game4 is guaranteed...

...but its guaranteed. PEACE.

Kawhi defense on Lebron was about the best I've ever seen someone guard him, then to turn around and have almost 30 points and 1 turnover is crazy.

LOL...a 100 people left Game 6? I don't even have to argue this. Anyone with YT can see the truth with a quick search...a 100 people out of 20,000...Miami fans are so cray.WAR

How many left then?

Better yet why does this matter to you? Why does it only matter if Miami fans leave early?

Some of you guys hate Lebron, Wade, the Heat so much that shit that won't even affect other people about other teams bothers you for some reason.

This one wasn't even as bad. Down 16 with 5 min left to go. Chances of a comeback are super slim. They paid for the seats didn't they? They can leave. Why does that matter to you? Oh right cause its Miami so its somehow worse than when Thunder fans did it.

All fan bases leave early especially in a blowout. If the Spurs were still up 20+ in the fourth would it have been ok then?

What a fucking clinic by the Spurs. This was Pacers-Heat game 1 levels of defensive incompetence from Miami. Really didn't expect them to come out this flat.

Again people notice what fans do on tv. Sometimes it is overblown by tv coverage but this is not just with the Heat. It happens with all sports.

#PGsBetterThanChalmers is killing me right now

Thing I don't get is that while he has never been great or top 10 PG, he has been serviceable.

Miami needs someone who can at times break down the D and get a bucket or two. Or someone to hit the open 3 when the ball rotates back out. Chalmers used to be able to do that as recent as last playoffs.

Now he seems to be super careless with the ball, lazy as hell, can't hit a shot and then fouls for no reason.

Wouldn't be shocked if Cole starts over him. Battier needs more playing time too. Plays D and can hit the 3.

I don't understand Bosh with 4 FG attempts (4/4 at that) two days after hitting for 18 and the biggest points of the 4th quarter.

Of course but considering what other fanbases have done (ESPECIALLY US PHILLY FANS!) leaving early in Miami is tame. Other fan bases have stabbed, shot, thrown bottles, batteries, and incited riots.

First Miami isn't the best sports town period in terms of a fanbase. Tons of transplants and too many other things to do. Don't see how it matters or why its some ammo against the real fans they do have.

We have some really good posters here who are Heat fans but all they get hit with is "lol left early" or constant bitching and crying about "refs". I don't even want to hear about the refs ever again btw. Pacers had games where they had both the fouls and FT advantage. Spurs have had it 2 out of 3 games.

Yeah, ok.

In the real world, ESPN promotes LeBron James to no end, gushing when he wins and dividing up the blame pie amongst his teammates when he loses. No other NBA player gets that kinda treatment...no one.

The reason they promote him is simple: ESPN wants to be the ones covering the Jordan of this generation. Paint a narrative that promotes his successes and ignores his faults.

Watch the NBA on TNT sometime. They don't try to concoct narratives or paint anyone in anyway. They poke fun at everyone and no one is on a pedestal for the most part. It's night and day versus ESPN.

Also, ESPN keeps LeBron in the conversation even when it's not even about him. I remember once they were talking soccer and NASCAR and LeBron's name was mentioned. It's overkill.

If I am Spo I design some plays for him and tell him to be super aggressive. Get the Spurs big men in foul trouble.

Game started with 5 Wade turnovers. All around super lazy effort by all but at least Bosh was hitting his shots. Chalmers and Wade lost the game for them in the first qrt.

Run some plays in the post for Bosh.

Miami shouldn't over react.

They just have to up their intensity.

I get the feeling that the Heat don't fear the Spurs (good and bad thing). I am not sure that I can say that about all of the Spurs. Miami has handled the bigger moments better and I think that will continue. But you have to keep the game close to get to those bigger moments.

And I could see Chalmers having a big game Thursday. Probably not from Cole but who knows.

Game 4 is huge and I can't see the Heat not coming out guns blazing. Doesn't mean they will win but I am sure the effort will be much improved.

Miami's shooting like 50% in the series. That's not a good thing for the Spurs.

When other fanbases do dumb shit or the lights go off on the stadium they get shit too. It is not all about Miami. As a Lakers fan I hate the celebs in front who don't even pay attention to the game and I won't complain if you shit on that part of the fanbase.

Not sure why you are taking it so personally.

Reputations can change too but like I said it is what it is.

Come on haha. You have to recognize that there is a difference between the fans in Miami and the fans in say, Oklahoma, Portland or Golden State.

People just laugh at Miami because so many don't realize how blessed they are. How casually so many arena spectators and people in the city treat what they were given. And how defensive some of the fans are about these facts. Golden State and Oklahoma have trotted out some real shit teams and still packed their buildings. Miami got the Big 3, the most talked about team since the Jordan Bulls, and struggled to sell out their arena.

Even the Miami sports media calls out the fan base on being fairweather jackasses. I'm not so sure why Pimp and company are being defensive about it. Your fan base was, is, and always will be terrible. Move on.

So many people have left that I'm honestly embarrassed for this city.

As far as tonight's game went, the Spurs dominated the first half and maintained a steady lead the entire way through. Up by 21 at the half, won by 19. They weren't outplayed at any point, weathered Miami's mini-runs, and proceeded to punch them right back in the mouth. I called it after the first quarter, but Spurs fans are scared of Miami for some reason. Don't be. Your team is better than theirs.

We have a series, folks.

It was only 100 people out of 20,000.

Just like last year. Learn some math, LeBatard.
