Everyone thought this would be cool, and then they posted screenshots.

I need to see some gameplay, but this looks kinda 'meh' on the graphics to me. They could definitely do better with cel shading.

I hope this turns out to be a good venture for Platinum, if only out of my selfish desires to see them do a full retail stealth action TMNT game.

the first shot with the mecha tank I legit thought was a shot from the show until I looked at it up close

Honestly I doubt we'll ever see a high budget anime game unless it's based on DBZ/One Piece/Naruro/Bleach. Mostly just due to who is financing this stuff like Kadokawa and I'm not sure if the ROI is there.

That said, I could see a Shingeki videogame at one point or another but that's really it.

It would be easier for Trigger to just do a new IP with Platinum and just provide art and designs than doing a game production based on one of Trigger's shows, similar to Ghibli with Ni no Kuni.

An Imaishi/Kamiya collaboration would be pretty damned sweet It would also be likely the most over the top game created!

Looks good to me, and if it plays like a platinum game, then I'll be ecstatic.

Well, Activision does have the license for TMNT games. And given how the last downloadable one they released sucked, they might be looking for a new developer...

I'm still hesitant because it's still a licensed game, especially because this one's downloadable, but Platinum has me cautiously optimistic for it, especially because I liked Book 1 of Korra (Haven't seen 2, but haven't heard much good...).

Wonder why no Wii U port, though? I was hoping PG was getting close with Nintendo, but maybe they're still bitter at how Nintendo advertised W101 (Which is to say, they didn't)?

This, both Korra and Avatar.are far less interesting than Platinum being the developer.

Well, on gaming side this is true at least. This is also the first notable game Korra has gotten (notable in that it's not a browser game)

Noone talk about Burning Earth

If I understand correctly, TW101 wouldn't exist if Nintendo hadn't paid for it. And Nintendo is the company that suffers for TW101 bombing, not Platinum. Platinum already got paid when Nintendo contracted them for the work. TW101's sales performance only affects Nintendo. So I don't think anyone would feel "bitter," outside the chance they feel bummed more people didn't see their work.

Which consoles to make the game for was probably Activision's decision.

After seeing the screenshots, I appreciate the animation style they're using. However...

The graphical quality looks like a PS2 game. I'm keeping my expectations low on this one.

I see them doing something like tying an element to X and Y (maybe even B?) and you can customize it in the options menu. They could have different jumping styles too.

Or maybe just have each element tied to a direction on the d-pad, but hopefully not.

That would be cool! Kinda like in Infamous where the "extra jump" is different between fire and ice?

Hmm, kinda see like each element being more suited for a purpose (and personality like in the show). Fire is aggressive offense. Air is more evasive. idk about water. I remember earth being stubborn... so...i'm not sure @_@ I remember how godlike Toph fight scenes are though.

Hm...well I really enjoy Korra as I did its predecessor so I might actually buy this game. Looking forward to more information.
