tbf, it just makes up for the number of games most players would be injured for :p

I don't really get it though. They'd be better off just going for a striker who would most likely let Messi and Neymar shine, rather than the best forward in general. Then keep Sanchez, and spend that money on centrebacks, a rightback and a couple of midfielders

Yeah, I agree. A false 9 would work better. Now they have 3 great forwards and if they don't gel, they're fucked expensively.

Honestly though I think it can work since Suarez can be godly with his assists but if this takes out a massive chunk of their budget and skimp on the sides they need most, well..

OH SHAW <3

Never had halloumi either. Not a massive cheese fan tbh but emmental is proper nice.

Chocoloate or cheese?

Dude at work was eating a solid block of cheese the other day. Didn't even have a knife or anything, just a solid block, bosh, in his mouth.

Today he spent about 2 hours writing a post on a forum about the Gestapo.

I eat blocks of cheese sometimes

Not in public though

Only when I'm sat at my computer naked

Now get a CB, a winger and a CM and offload Nani/Ando/Young at the very least

woowar pls

I could see Young going on a very long loan somewhere until he leaves under a free transfer.

Who'd pay him that much wages with his performance last season?

I pity Nani who had seasons injured so I wish him well in a different club.

And I hope Anderson gets fat and rolls out of Old Trafford forever.

asl?

Sometimes I'll get a plate, stick two slices of bread on it and a block of cheese and that's all I'll eat as it is.

If you had to give up either chocolate or cheese, which would you give up?

When I was first asked that I said cheese. Then I thought about it a bit more I reckon I'd give up chocolate. Cheese is amazing and makes alot of the things I love to eat. Chocolate is of course lovely but there are plenty of other snack/dessert options which are just as good.

I don't hate them. They're just a bit odd here. Send me your CV.

Which big transfers have happened so far this summer?

  • David Luiz (Chelsea > PSG)
  • Cesc Fabregas (FC Barcelona > Chelsea)
  • Luke Shaw (Southampton > Manchester United)
  • Ter Stegen ( > FC Barcelona)

And then Diego Costa, Lallana, Xavi and such aren't confirmed yet right?

We've also bought Herrera. The rest aren't confirmed.

David Villa's gone to MLS via A-League. Bravo's also gone to Barca.

Oi, FF. Why does Zubi still have a job? If you come out of this summer transfer window without 2 new CBs (priority), a RB and another CM, then you deserve fourth in a three team league.

Probably chocolate too. Couldn't live without the occasional big fat bacon cheese burger. I only really eat chocolate when I'm with the GF.

Mega ASOIAF spoilers for the whole series (not really, it's a fan theory, and you couldn't be spoiled unless you were to Google what is in speech marks below):
Saw on Twitter there's a flag at Glastonbury, with "L+R=J", I Googled that and spoiled myself on the basic premise, which sounds awesome. Which book does this idea come from?
I'm starting the second half of Storm of Swords, though I might read Superfreakonomics first.

I am at peace. Until August 1st.

Then I start losing my shit.

I can't wait until Joel Campbell comes back and we unveil him "like a new signing" for all those people who didn't know he was already an Arsenal player. "Look! We signed this exciting striker from the World Cup!"

No set book really spells it out, it's hinted at fairly heavily in GOT though I think.

I'm told Arsenal are now very keen on signing Dejan Lovren. Could be a summer exodus at #saintsfc...

:(

I really feel bad for Southampton.

It's pretty commonly-accepted theory.

GOT spoiler theory:
The theory has been around for awhile. It's one of those ones where people have picked out lots of dialogue that seems to support it, but we'll probably not find out until the 7th book if ever.

Oh finish reading then delve into the fan theorys.
Most of the core of this theory is observed in Eddard's thoughts from book 1 and hints also come in from the other books.
. If it makes you feel better, I read all 5 books and still completely missed it. It seems so obvious now though.

Shaw purchase is a brilliant one and I'm very jealous about it. Then again, I thought the Fellaini purchase was a very good one as well. Still a fan of his in general even if he had a poor season.

Problem with Fellaini is he clearly works higher up the field, but he's such an unorthodox attacking midfielder. Don't think he'll come good for us really, but I don't blame him too much.

Arsenal fans hanging on to the rumor that we will announce a signing at the puma kit unveiling.

Has any club ever done this?

I don't see it happening.

Correct.
Read Neds chapters in A Game of Thrones, it's hinted at there during his dream sequences I think. Also Bran has visions that hint at this particular theory/fact. Bran has a chapter in Game of Thrones that actually spells out events that happen in book 2,3,4,5 etc. Amazed once I noticed the connections.

Don't feel bad, I missed it too. I think most people do who didn't start reading the books from the start. Those who did have gone back and read them many, many times so they were able to pick up on lots of subtext.

You're probably right in this regard. You could see in that first game for Belgium he was given the freedom to play in a role that was more akin to his last year at Everton where he really shined. Probably won't ever get that chance at United, but who knows. It'll be interesting to see what LvG does.
