What a moronBut Ryan Mccafferey told me that F5 looks better !
I would like to see the expression in his face .

so amaze
What's "major depth" in a racing game?
Looks so good. Are the cars upgradable? Can i purchase (with in game money) new tires, suspension, spoiler, etc.?
All I see you do is bitch and troll. In the No Man's Sky thread you were spouting this kind of nonsense as well.
If you don't know shit about the game, don't come into a thread complaining that the developers haven't told us about what the game is.
it's a racing game. You race cars on roads. Against friends or CPU.
Peace
Go play GT6 or others, that game has TONS of things to unlock and play for.
Explain to me what does Drive Club offer?
Why in the hell is this game being sold for its
Graphics, thats GT crown that cant be matched in Sonys world.
But I tell you this, DriveClub is more about the worlds effects lighting, not the cars, have you noticed?.

But, but, but, it's not 60 fps,.... It cannot possibly be played and/or be fun.
from what i understand its all just aesthetics, this isnt a sim racer
The key difference is that GT is a single-player focused racing sim.
This is a socially-driven racer that slots in somewhere between arcade and sim, like PGR I suppose.
The depth in this game will come from online challenges and contests between friends and other hardcore racing gamers. That's at least my impression so far.
No, it's more about the racing experience than unlocking a new brake pad or millions of other little parts. I would way rather have a game where racing is fast, exciting and beautiful than one where the racing isn't exciting and it's more about the upgrading and tweaking.
If you aren't into the idea of an arcadey racer, that's fine, but don't try to undermine its value by comparing it to games that go in a different direction.

Truly incredible what they've been able to achieve on a $400 console...
It's an arcade racing game, so it's easier to achieve that graphics than on an FPS or freeroaming title, but no doubt it looks great.
Everything just looks and sounds so ALIVE compared to GT. Kaz has got his work cut out. We'll find out in 5 years' time.
Dead.
This is the best looking racing game I have ever seen.....PERIOD. Its simple amazing Evolution has done this. Good show.
I want to but I can't because of the heavy duty video compression artifacts.

Free PS+, this doesn't seem like $65 worth at all, we know graphics isnt everything specially for racing games.
If this game doesnt have major depth whats the point?, look at GT thoss games have a huge amount of things to do and unlock its overwhelming.
Drive Club all I see is "oh graphics" thats it
when are they going to fully expose the overall package?

You really haven't been following the game if those are the only this you're highlighting. But I tell you this, DriveClub is more about the worlds effects lighting, not the cars, have you noticed?.
When was it even $65 to begin with?..... The focus of the game is about being in a club, completing challenges, unlocking cars/tracks, racing against difference weather conditions that affect the handling of your car.this doesn't seem like $65 worth at all, we know graphics isnt everything specially for racing games.

You sure? First time this was revealed the dev was creaming over the quality of....leather seats. Nothing about this game has been about the actual feel of Driving at all, it has all been about boasting it like tech demo.
Oh look at the leather, look at the world dynamicly change wow...oh dynamic menus...
I am calling it like I see it, I never seen the dev talking about this being about the cars and feeling of Driving.
This was delayed based on having zero focus,
now it looks like it has one, showcasing graphics thats it, dare you to tell me that hasnt been the case.
Oh, myyyyyy.... The youtube vid I watched made it look like the water on the hood had a refresh rate of 3fps. But that WebM, sweet baby jesus.
#worthayearsdelay

I am sorry if I am not impressed by graphics, I dont play racing games for that, its for the driving gameplay and depth/reason to do tons of races, DriveClub PS+ will be enough to deliver the reason to play this, you cant deny that, peace.
This will be the generations PGR4.
These graphics will be timeless and still look great when we look back at GIFs in generations to come.
I'm so glad I bought dem Headphones

We need some direct feed footage and quick. The PSA footage is compressed to hell and back...
In what world is GT racing isnt fast and exciting?, are you kidding me?. GT clearly takes a more intellectual aspect to reaching those aspects, you need to tweak your ride and upgrade it, if you play it right clearly the fast fun crazy cars are there to drive.
GT isnt some game where you do slow laps and all that, thats the initial steps maybe but once the game opens up you will ride amazing cars at 60fps that you can tweak and make them even better!.
Oh and GT has Online aspects, not sure why many forget that, it isnt "single player centric" or whatever he said, GT is a full fledge Driving game with overwhelming depth & content.
Show me what Depth & Content DriveClub has, I dont see it, all I see is Graphics gawking, where is the hype for if the AI are brutal and take skills to beat them?. Tell me more about that, dont care for rain drops.
Always a good way to make a game look good, dim lighting and make everything wet
Did look really good though
