My will is weakening. I must check Wal Mart. The one in my town is... how can I put this... not the most up-kept store. The last time I was there the PS3 and PS4 games were mixed together in two different cases, same with Xbox. Just all over the place.

That's your problem, the beginning isn't that great.

I'm in the same boat. I platinumed wolf, since it was an easy plat, but I found the game just eh.

It's the second game the majority of GAF loves that didn't click with me.

First being sleeping dogs. I can typically get used to a sandbox games driving mechanics ( watch dogs, saints row, gta) but sleeping dogs were so atrocious that it killed any interest I had in continuing with it.

I didn't like Sleeping Dogs at all either.

GAF gave me Nier though, forever forgiven.

Agree with the aiming, at least on consoles. Rage, Doom 3 BFG edition, and Wolfenstein to me always felt a little off. 2 out of 3 being idtech 5. Aiming doesn't feel quite as smooth as say Battlefield 4 or a COD game. Hope they improve this in idtech 6. I still enjoyed Wolfenstein though.

On topic, 3 more days to go.

But if you haven't played it, how do you know Sarah isn't in it later? You wouldn't have a clue who that girl is.

Because she isn't in any of the marketing or trailers. Some people would definitely connect the dots if they didn't think it was Ellie or something. Naughty Dog isn't Kojima Productions.

It just feels so tight. The controls are great, art direction fantastic, visuals good and a really really good story.

Did you at least beat the prologue?

Yeah you guys were right. Really love it. The protagonist is so dang perfect probably the most likable protagonist of a fps since Half Life and this dude even talks.

Well, I just watched the IGN review for the hell of it, and this guy was playing it like Call of Duty (ADS almost all the time). He said dual wielding was hard to aim and that ammo / armor pickup was archaic and annoying. Some valid claims, and some like those....

Left Behind felt a little more technically impressive on PS3 than the base game, greater AA coverage, and a more reliable performance.

My copy shipped today, now I just need a PS4 (didn't want to miss out on that sweet steelbook). Price was surprisingly good where I got it.
