Not to be a heretic or anything. But what about having someone like Sanzaru Games do Crash? (That's assuming that Sony gets Crash back from Activision)
I liked their Sly Cooper games. I felt they stayed true to the feeling of Sly. I imagine they could work with ND to do the same with a Crash game if that happened.
YES! Please can someone here sort this out in advance so I don't need to spoil it trying to find the conference recording hours after it's done! I'd love to watch this on Saturday night after work and revel in the awesomeness live, then come and see the fallout on GAF the second it's finished! Please NeoGAF users!

As someone who thought Sly 4 was a masterpiece in regards to faithfulness (despite some fans of Sly being in a tizzy over some of the story elements) I am fully on board with this idea, and they can't really "fuck up" the story with Crash, since even in the later games Crash never took its stories too super seriously or indepth anyways, so that would never be a concern.

I just hope that Knack 2 gets announced or at least a crossover with another game, such as costume pack for Kratos in the rumored new God of War game, dlc with voice pack for LBP 3 or even Knack as a driver in Driveclub!! I kind of wish Crash does not get announced since it's going to take the spotlight from Knack, especially since the gameplay in Knack was similar to Crash, but more advanced.

I do, but this banks on the idea that a "megaton" is subjective based on peoples' interests. There will be a couple announcements that can be classified as huge, but some of them will only be huge to segments of the community. Part of that "something for everyone" mentality Sony seems to love.

Knack wasn't perfect, but it's one of the best next-gen new IPs IN MY OPINION, but you you have to play it on hard mode. On hard mode, it's pretty much like Dark Souls, but with a joyful charm for younger gamers or gamers who don't care about playing "kid" games . The framerate should improve if there's a new Knack game. Verendus even teased Knack 2 as one of the options, so I'm hopeful for it
