I personally didn't really see much of a reason to immediately assume it was fake, aside from the blatant jank and unfinished quality to everything, I thought it was pretty damn spot on in atmosphere and style for what a PS4 MediEvil SHOULD look like, Souls Series'ish with a cartoon/somewhat Tim Burton quality to everything.
Regardless of whatever comes of this, too much work has gone into getting that looking so spot on even in Alpha stages to just be thrown away for no real reason, that would be a total and complete waste.

Did it occur to anyone what type of footage we're actually dealing with? We had random walking footage and a couple of screenshots front and back. So it's not a trailer, or a teaser. It could be pure and raw exports from cinema4d or whatever is used for making games. I don't know what this means for teamfake or teamreal.

Yeah, who knows. I'm leaning towards it being someone's portfolio work or a cancelled prototype, but I won't rule anything out. Small budget games can look pretty good these days, just look at Rime, so it's entirely possible they've got a small dev working on something like this.
If I were to come up with a crazy theory, I'd say it was created in Media Molecule's next game.
I just wanted to feel like part of the group.
