Starcraft could be the futuristic sequel to Warcraft, like Starhawk was the Warhawk. Is that too far removed from this though

Even the horrible system from Ar Tonelico Qoga was better than the absolute shitfest of a battle system that Ni no Kuni had. Ni no Kuni's battle system is on par with some of Compile Heart's shittier battle systems. So you don't have to worry about this one playing better than Ni no Kuni.

I was in the process of preordering it when I saw the previous thread and thankfully realized it wasn't a Ni no Kuni sequel before it was too late. It seems I'm somewhere in the middle then.

It really needed to avoid scrolling through an option wheel for important features. Having to do that in real-time is a terrible design choice.

Not sure if this is mentioned already but the character modeling and animation are being handled by FlightUnit. Lead modeler is Yasuhiro Kuwata, who also did the characters for Ar nosurge and Shining Resonance.
