Combat shot looks potentially interesting, though that's a bit busy if all those UI elements are always there.

All the people blabbing about Ni No Kuni reminds me, I really hope this actually plays way better than Ni No Kuni.

The future news thread for this game will be always filled by disappointed people who got tricked by their own mind.

Every time I see something on this game I think it will be a ni no kuni game and get sad when I realize it isn't. Still looks good though :)

EDIT: I should read the rest of threads. I am both late and not alone.

Yeah I have a feeling that this ni no kuni thing is going to become really annoying for people who actually care about this game.

"Oh hey guys, I'm really excited about the new bang bros - oh, you guys are talking about smash bros? But it had bros at the end of the title!"

I quite enjoyed Ni no Kuni. Shame this isn't related but I will keep an eye on it in any case. You can never have too many JRPGs.

I still don't see how you can read "Yoru no Nai Kuni" as "Ni no Kuni". It's one more word and a lot more characters. The only similarity is the "Kuni". I mean, even "Starcraft" and "Warcraft" are a lot closer in terms of Levenshtein distance!

Ni No Kuni

Yeah the similarity is more than just one word, but it still silly.

Well... yeah, when you're not Japanese. I clicked on this assuming it was a sequel with an altered title or something.

How is it being Japanese making it any more confusing than English? Its just a word being used in another title. Do you also confuse Minecraft as a new StarCraft game?

These threads are going to be extremely irritating.

Starcraft could be the futuristic sequel to Warcraft, like Starhawk was the Warhawk. Is that too far removed from this though

I won't because I don't really pity people being idiots.

You don't really mean that, do you? :x

Basically.

I have to wonder how you guys manage to get through daily life if that's all it takes to confuse you.

You have a Japanese name though.

If you buy the game just because 1 word (that people don't even understand the meaning of if the title is confusing them already) is shared in the titles? Totally.

If you think they look similar in a casual glance? Sure whatever, everyone makes mistakes. It's just that it's being repeated so much that it's dominating the conversation instead of the actual game.

I wish people learned how to read since this filled the other thread. X:

Looking forward to this it looks like a nice new take on the Ar no Surge system.

I sometimes rush when reading stuff but even I knwe this was unrelated to Ni no Kuni XP

If you can't understand why people don't pick up on contextual clues as well in a language they don't speak as their native tongue...

That being said, this sucks for fans of the game and is going to ruin every thread about it, as it already has this one.

All the people blabbing about Ni No Kuni reminds me, I really hope this actually plays way better than Ni No Kuni.

Even the horrible system from Ar Tonelico Qoga was better than the absolute shitfest of a battle system that Ni no Kuni had. Ni no Kuni's battle system is on par with some of Compile Heart's shittier battle systems. So you don't have to worry about this one playing better than Ni no Kuni.

I was in the process of preordering it when I saw the previous thread and thankfully realized it wasn't a Ni no Kuni sequel before it was too late. It seems I'm somewhere in the middle then.

FUCKKK i came in here thinking it's a sequel or something.

Looks like Antwhippy thinks you're in idiot :(

I'm sure he's just upset though.

It really needed to avoid scrolling through an option wheel for important features. Having to do that in real-time is a terrible design choice.
