Everyone says that basically. I did. The second half of the season (starting with Mirror Gem) is when it gets better, and the end of the season is when things get crazy. My favorite cartoon.

Just watched the new episode. Amazing how the tone shifted so smoothly in that last moment. Pearl continues to be my favorite.
