I would love to hear the KI team talk about how they arrived at the decision to add him. It wasn't all that long ago that Adam Isgreen was saying Eyedol may be too silly. If they're adding a Battletoad then I think Eyedol is basically guaranteed.

They just added another row to the bottom of season 2. It has Rash, Random, KI Logo.

because he's a guest character I don't expect it. it would be cool if his alt costumes let you play as the other toads. same move set but maybe personalize the giant fist into a drill and so forth for added personality.

I mean, outside of Tusk, Kim Wu, and the bosses, they're already out of pre-existing characters anyway. As much as I'd like to see them expand the world, a few other guests might be nice, honestly. Granted, outside of Joanna Dark, Conker, or more Battletoads, I wouldn't really be feeling anyone nearly as much. But it'd be cool!

They were already having fun with KI, though. This is just stepping outside a bit more from KI's box so to speak. I would like to hear them talk about it. Probably a good question for their textual stream.

Part of of KI's charm to me is that it seemed like it was created though the filter of some 12-year old kid trying to make a genuinely serious SF-like game with badass monsters, skeletons, and warriors. So while intend to be serious through that lens, it still comes off as goofy. For the most part, it's kinda stuck to that in the remake.

Eyedol was already in KI, and Battletoads is inherently sillier, so with this inclusion that doesn't hold much water now. I hope he's back on the table.

I'm just glad it's not Conker in the game. Now that would have been out of place.

If you can wait a few months, the entire game will launch on PC when Season 3 (The one Rash'll be a part of) starts up in March. It's a long wait, but it's worth it, IMO.

I think the thing is, Eyedol is silly but was supposed to be played straight as a final boss (Tho his ending in the original KI was straight up parody of Blanka's, likely cause he was a secret character), so its like Eyedol, design wise, was supposed to be something you take seriously but ended up looking very silly.

Rash is straight up silly with the intention of being silly since inception and they're just having fun with it, Eyedol would need heavy retooling so it doesnt look silly, cause he isn't supposed to.

How can a Battletoads characters being in Killer Instinct suck exactly? Both are classic Rare IP's and the character looks really well done. The fact they have brought across his move set from Battletoads is pretty great.
