Ok. This is really bad. Ground Zeroes PC didn't update yet so we can't import the saves. Also NO companion app for the PC too like on GZ.
And to top that :

What's the total size on steam? Can't wat to start this tonight.

Then why didn't GZ get an update then like on the other platforms ? What was the update about ?
Thanks for the info.I was getting uneven frame pacing in-game, so I switched to half-refresh rate (120Hz) with a 60Hz cap using Afterburner and it's been perfect ever since.
Anyone running it with a GTX 960 2GB?
Recently came into possession of a 960, got it overclocked fairly modestly as well, and am hoping to run the game at or better visuals than the PS4 at 1080/60.
GeForce Experience set mostly everything to High-Extra High but I dunno how it'll run.

Any laptop users?

It will run at 30fps max with lots of stuttering, I'm sorry. So how is this port?
i7 2600k @3.4Ghz and GTX 980 will i be able to get Max settings at 1080p (or above) @60fps?

I have both of them, what settings are you running? I have mostly high other than textures at very high and shadows at medium and am getting locked 60, I might have to turn some settings down even more to not stress my pc too much (it likes to randomly turn off in open world games, and no it's not overheating)
Should I just cancel the CE and get the PC version instead?
Should I just cancel the CE and get the PC version instead? I'm so torn about this...
Keep CE, sell PS4 copy and buy PC version if you really want to.Should I just cancel the CE and get the PC version instead? I'm so torn about this...
Runs really well except...
The emblem editor literally drops me down to 2fps until I exit it.

Quick questions:
- Will MSI GTX 970 run this at max settings at 1080p?
- Does the game support DS4 natively or do I need DS4Windows?
- If you got the game free with the Nvidia card promotion, do I still get a free copy of Ground Zero?
Thanks!

Getting 60 FPS throughout the prologue (amazing) and Afghanistan so far. Only dip I've seen so far was when I dove into the ground while the camera was zoomed in and dust got kicked up. No other issues so far.

Seriously though it'll be more than enough for 1080p.
Thanks guys. Never know with PC ports of AAA games these days. Batman burned me badly.Stealth brag?2880X1620 down sampled to 1440p at 60fps is smack yo' momma good. My God it's so purty. I was up till 0330 playing this. Feeling that at work now, but damn this game is fun and such a looker. I still think Witcher 3 edges it out in the looks department, but what's here is amazing and I couldn't be happier to have this game and Mad Max to jump between as I've exhausted Witcher 3. Excited to see Africa whenever that happens.Yes. 1080p easily. I'd wager with a bit of overhead to push it if you wanted.
Willing to bet what they're perceiving as more "shadow detail" on characters is actually the X1's lack of subsurface scattering.
I'm using MKB, got annoyed with analog stick imprecision. Are people using the mouse and keyboard to play, or mostly controller? My hori pad is good except the analog isn't as precise as I'd like it to be..
Animations are the one thing in your initial list I can agree on being generally better in MGS5, sure. Can we at least agree that the animations are vastly superior in MGS5?
Quick hint, you don't need to ask this question for a long time.
DS4 windows.
Nope.
Ground Zeroes runs at a pretty much constant (SOME weird instances) 60fps on my rig with SSAO instead of HBAO
2gig 680 (OCed)
8 gigs of ram
i5 2500k OCed to 4.3ghz
tell me this is the exact same and im happy
That's a bit much to ask, and calling it a "big problem with PC gaming" seems reaching. There's not even an officially supported way to use a DS4 on a PC. Games generally do support the standard dual-analog controller API, which is Xinput on Windows. Thanks for the info though. Massive shame it isn't compatible with DS4 natively. This is arguably the biggest problem with PC gaming when developers can't be bothered with controller compatibility, especially when the controller is fully supported on their console release.
The 970 doesn't get stable 60 fps on max if you do the control panel thing for better HBAO or what ever its called. I had to enable sli. My cpu is a 2600k.
well I only played Witcher 3 on console and it looked like playmobil to me. I don't mean that games have to look realistic or natural, but something always seemed off in TW3 to me. Like the different elements aren't meant to be together.
I don't think the difference is big enough for you to give up the CE.
It's 60fps on all platforms after all.
Wonder if your CPU is the bottleneck then? The recommended specs suggest only a 760 for the GPU, but a 4790 for the CPU. Maybe the game is very CPU intensive?

(Personally, I have the button mapping hardwired in my optical system at this point, so I have no problem with it)
Great I would imagine. A 670 ran GZ maxed out with some minor drops, two settings put to high and it was stable 60.
Well, on my 970 I can get a totally smooth 1080/60 experience with everything maxed on extra high. So I imagine you'll be totally able to get to a smooth 60 with most things on high.

The game doesn't require a restart to apply graphics changes, go nuts.
You can probably do 1080p with high-extra high. Experiment.
