So when I go on Ground Zeroes I get a "cannot connect to server" error and when I log onto Phantom Pain I get a "servers are down for maintenance" kind of error. Anybody seeing something similar? This is on Xbone.

I figure I've received some of my Ground Zeroes dudes, because after mission two or three I had some guys added to Mother Base that have a the KojiPro fox logo tattooed to their face. It was only three or so though.

If I import it now with just the GZ mission done, get Kojima later in GZ and import again my data. Kojima will be in TPP, right ?

Just got a side op to rescue an Intel operative and...it was Kojima! I thought/hoped it would mean I would have 2 kojimas but seemed it didn't...

There will be an option to download GZ save in the Title Menu once you're done with the prologue. So yeah check the Title Menu.

Thought I was finally going to be able to import my save. The game had me accept a ToS, but timed out at the actual logging in part. Oh well. Hopefully it'll get sorted out tomorrow.

I think it's just random, so you might get them later on, I got Kojima, the Sneaking Suit and Golden Arm after the second mission, and have been getting GZ people randomly after I do missions.

Yeah that's how it goes. I think they come in after a few missions and not all at the same time as I just got Glaz and Palitz.

There will be an option to download GZ save in the Title Menu once you're done with the prologue. So yeah check the Title Menu.

I don't see why not since you have to start TPP before you even get the option to download GZ save data.

Just to play it safe why not wait until you are completely done with GZ before doing your first upload into TPP?

I don't even know what to do regarding that right now, it seems possible that they just said the code was for something special to get people to buy copies early and then pretend they never said it. I wanted to start the game with everything off the bat but I guess the save alone will do?

You have to research skins and the bionic arm. The arm doesn't even show up until after a certain mission.

People who own GZ will be able to play a different mission(s) at Camp Omega in TPP. That’s the current plan. There’s something of a big feature involved. It’s never been done in the games industry before. So I can’t go into detail about it, but I think when you experience it for yourselves you’ll be surprised. It’s something that’s only possible through video games

Maybe it's towards the end of the game. I remember in the trailers with the shot where Boss is smoking a cigar and starting his motorcycle, it looked like he was in a section of camp omega.

I'll say, all the people that carry over are a big help. Much higher stats than most of the people out in the field. At least early that is. I think I have them all unlocked now as you won't unlock everything in the beginning.

ARGHHHH 22 hours after Konami says they're "deeply sorry" about the server issues and working on it, and more than 24 hours after the game has come out I STILL have not been able to connect to the servers once.

All I want to do is load my Ground Zeroes save... :C
I did ALL this work in GZ so I could unlock this stuff BEFORE TPP came out so that I'd have it ready to go, and so far, no luck. And no response from Konami in almost a day after multiple requests for comment.

This is so frustrating. I know I know... launch woes. But WHY isn't there an option to load the data directly off my system?

The save data for MGSV GZ is on the same system and HDD as MGSV TPP...

It apparently works for some people though, based on all the stories here of all the great Mother Base support you get.

I took off work to play this game, but my play sessions consist of an hour of clicking the "Connect Online" menu option OVER AND OVER...

I was able to upload mine about an hour after the game went live. Already got Hideo, the Finger, the Eye, and a few of the no name prisoners. I think the servers are just fucking up now that everyone has it. It will not let me stay logged for more that 20 minutes.

I think they have the info on the front page of this thread... you mostly just have to rescue the prisoners in GZ. Also, extract some of the targets in one of the side ops instead of killing them...

Anybody have a screenshot of the Solid Snake suit? Curious to see what it looks like before I spend the GMP (not like money is any object in this game). Also it looks like the Snake suit is non-upgradeable, in contrast to the standard suit that has multiple upgrade tiers?

I just learned that you need to upload GZ data to import it in PP. Rented GZ a year ago, but did not know about this upload thing. Booted up PP, and hey, despite the save data being stored locally on my PlayStation, I can't do anything to import it to PP, since I don't have GZ anymore ...
