I'm only saying Egypt as an example. There are many countries that are Arabic in North Africa. Egypt isn't confirmed, but I'm sure Capcom will tell us of his origin soon enough.

As a new Ps4 owner, is there normally a console-supported way to view stuff like this? It'd be nice to have something on system for this kind of event. I know they do a nice job updating the PSBlog with trailers and all, but I'd have loved to have something more direct and reliable...
Anyway, Rashid looks pretty cool. Can't really get to hype until I see him in much better detail, lo-qual-cam made it kinda.. eh.
The Wind stuff looks very cool, and his top-spin attack (I think?) looks... familiar actually, Maybe like Sadira from KI, come to think of it. All that jumping around I (think,..) I saw makes me feel like he and Vega occupy similar spaces of play so far, but this is probably far from the truth.
Looking forward to seeing real breakdown, clear video, and getting to hear his voice. These things could all really make the character. Welcome to SF, new blood!

Because this obviously doesn't have anything to do with 9/11, and the poster was making fun of the indiscriminate hostility towards anyone even a little Arabic that's existed because of 9/11 for so long.

If I take anything away from this new (blurry) trailer apart from liking Rashid's design, is that the lack of new stages is getting to absurd levels at this point.
I mean, another character reveal that takes place on the Hong Kong and Waterfall stages? No desert stage for a newcomer like Rashid? They really need to crank up production on stages, else this game will fall flat on its face in terms of its overall presentation regardless of how well the characters themselves look and play imo.
