Concrete Revolutio 11

Some good animation I guess.

Stuck with it this long, so I might as well finish it. There better be a goddamn good reason for all the skipping around though. I don't care if it's a perfectly valid stylistic choice, I will never not hate non-linear story-telling without plot justification.

Alice's cooking is weird but cool since she isn't using a regional cuisine or a specific technique like almost everyone else but opts for gastronomy and science. I'm sure the stuff she makes is possible but I don't even know where you would get it.

And yeah, a few dishes that will be shown in S2 looked soooo good

Alice didn't get a time to shine. Her time will come.

didn't peg you as the type to be down with Bayo lol

Haha I really do wonder what impressions people have of me, if any. I doubt most are actually indicative of me irl but I only have myself to blame :p Bayo is cool as hell, I love everything about her and I love character action games, DMC3 is probably my #1 of all time and Bayo 1 + 2 are up there, as are the majority of the Platinum's Games! :)

So what's everyone getting this week?

I watched gundam seed when I was at the 5th grade but was really not into it.
So I decided to re watch while waiting for star wars.
So far it's good but it has some ridiculousness.
The ending theme is godlike

pretty sure I got spoiled in the nonspoilers thread.

just avoid the internet and play solitaire until monday

I don't usually go out of my subscription box on GAF, and I trust everyone on the places that I frequent here. Plus, next couple of days, even though school is gonna be over with today's exam, are going to be busy. Gotta move my furniture to the new place, and then work this weekend. All this plus watching all of the anime finales are going to keep me away from spoilers I hope aha. Do feel free to say whether it was good or not though!

Star Wars is premiering a week late here, it will be a miracle if I don't see any spoilers...

Gintama 302

So, I thought this was supposed to be serious. So far, there are amazing, funny moments. The reveal of the giant cannon was so over the top. lol

Other than that, when did Hatori became so badass?

Jeez Sorachi stop using your super sappy childhood friendship flashbacks to make me get all sad when Zenzo fought this episode. Beautiful use of the medium with different scenes adding up to an overall fucked situation. Surprised easy Naruto jokes haven't been used yet for the ninja village but they have to be coming soon. Great arc so far to keeps getting crazier.

Zenzo becoming a badass has been one of my favorite things about this arc so far lol. He's been such a joke character throughout the entire show, but I always got the feeling he had more to him.

Wonder how Gintama gets away with not being censored sometimes? Like dudes were taking knifes to the throat and eyes-thats some Berserk shit there.

Nice to Zenzo and Sa-chan get a chance to be badass.

Tantei Team KZ Jiken Note Episode 11 – The Back Yard Knows Part 3

The writer keeps doing this to me, my favorites one by one. Ugh.
why does he have to go blind :(

Such good drama, though, really good short.

I'm going with someone but only on Monday... So afraid of goddamn spoilers.

going sunday mid-dayish with friends, reserved seats at local alamo.

But we have one friend in our chat group who doesn't give a fuck about spoilers and makes it a point in his life that he'd spoil it to people just to fuck with them, kind of an ass but I love him anyways.

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I just finished Oreimo 2. I watched 1 a few years ago but cannot recall if I ever finished it. I honestly thought the incest was just an under(over)tone of the show and that he'd end up with Kuroneko. That "twist"
with his sister was beyond awful. Am I just stupid for thinking their relationship was actually becoming more like normal siblings who love each other as family members?

I really thought it was a hilarious parody-like show. Instead the last two episodes ruined everything :[

I thought it was pretty obvious it was going that way, but I maintained hope until almost the end that he'd actually end up with best girl (
Kuroneko.
Manami would have been fine, too.
Heck, basically anyone except Kirino would have been acceptable
). Just dropped the show when he screamed his confession in the middle of the street. Don't know when exactly that was in the last few episodes, but I just said screw it, not worth it anymore.

I'd probably punch the living shit out of him ahahaha!

Hey guys, new around here, what's goin-

...

I'll come back later

Welcome! Don't be scared, it'll be OK, he's just having a bad day, we all have been there before, right? RIGHT!

Anyway, stay around.. Just don;t talk about how awesome SAO or Key series are and you will be all-set.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Episode 25

Manjoume sanda!!!!!! I love his fans and armed dragon. Finally Manjouma can rise to be a serious fighter and not some throw away meaning, though he is secretly a very great duelist and friend. Thats all he needs a friend to help him get through the pressure his brothers are putting on him

I thought it odd that they didn't have their duel spirits at all. Though it seems part 2 will involve them.

I really can't understand this. Starting from Osamu Kobayashi's episode, where the characters behaved at odds with their established personalities, the whole thing steadily went downhill until any sense of caring about the characters and their relationships was lost in gross, vulgar spectacle. It's as if midway through the series Yuasa stopped caring about the themes of the story he was trying to tell and decided to build things up into some visually impressive setpiece, no matter how nonsensical it was. Kaiba only got that way at the very end, and even then it wasn't so bad to ruin the characters. Tatami never got that way, and had a very successful ending that satisfyingly brought this one chapter of the protagonist's life to a close.

Duckroll is a known critic of Tatami Galaxy's ending, he can't be trusted!

Slowly catching up~

One Punch Man - 11

Amazing. They absolutely nailed it. It even had the zoom gif. Can't wait for the last episode.

Okada Gundam - 11

Continues to be great as well. Nice battle and nice everything else. And of course it's the one old dude they threw out of the crew the moment he betrayed them, that picks a fight with them again, lol.

Asterisk - 11

Nice set-up episode for the big battle. The informations about the Ogre Lux was pretty interesting again, being Claudia is suffering.
Experiencing death everytime you sleep doesn't sound pleasant.

Cavalry - 11

I... what... wow... didn't expect that.
Major tonal shift for 2 thirds of the episode and it was absolutely great.
