Rated M? Looking forward to seeing gameplay for this.
I'm not sure what you mean. Platinum is definitely extremely agile in terms of development, but part of that seems to be because these days they don't even have a strict "team" structure anymore. Kenji Saito directed Transformers Devestation, but the team that made it is not the Metal Gear Revengeance team. They're just made up of a bunch of Platinum staff from various projects. Are you sure they're all working on Nier? Is Kenji Saito working on Nier? I haven't really been keeping up...
Yeah, the turtles were never edgy:
Really feels like people don't know the source material.
Fuck outta here with "terrible art".
I say this as someone who grew up with the 80s cartoon Turtles. Someone who played the shit out of the games, owned turtles pajamas, dressed as them for Halloween, had a crap ton of toys, knew the movies like the back of my hand, had Turtles themed birthday parties where professionals dressed as the Turtles showed up in the Party Van and fought Shredder. The 80s cartoon is one of the worst incarnations of the Ninja Turtles. That cartoon was my world as a kid, but it does not hold up. It's terrible. Every cartoon since has been better and holds up more. The comics are way better. The movies (even the new one) are better. Take off your fucking nostalgia goggles and get over it lol. I get the appeal of wanting something based on that era specifically after Transformers: Devastation happened, but come on. This shit is cool looking.

Ah, I see where I was mistaken. Nier:Auto's Producer, Yosuke Saito, was where I got tripped up on before, where I thought it was Kenji Saito doing double duty. Silly me~!
If so, then I guess that would just make it so he'd only have to possibly worry about being the Team Lead for two projects. Which would seem much more feasible.

Thank god it's not 80s Turtles. Show ruined the Turtles' image. Turtles can get crazy brutal and it's a shame that the 03 cartoon is the onyl thing that could remotely capture the essence of the comics.
Yeah, when I'm not drawing mntg, drinking or playing video games, I roam neogaf. :3Also...you're THAT MNTG Tigerfog, aren't you? Respect~!

I'm hoping the upcoming TMNT game will be have intense bite-sized levels.
Since I didn't play any of PG's smaller projects, I don't know what to expect in terms of gameplay. Simply hoping for a well executed local multiplayer.
Long live couch gaming.
I need to see Shredder and April.

Terrible art.
Shredder is in the background of that image. From the looks of it, he seems to have a scar below his left eye.
Yeah, maybe I am just so used to the 80's style. Most of the new versions look almost like they are trying way too hard to look edgy.
art could have turtle dicks and i'd still be excited af
The only two good Turtles series worth watching:
80s pilot episodes
Nick series
There were no Pizua references in the early Turtles. Most of the time they actually drank beer. No idea why Splinter let that happen. Is that last bubble supposed to be a pizza?
He's adapted to moving at high speeds way better than I would've expected.
cowabunga motherfucker
lol like Tranformers?
It could match perfectly the 80's pilot series and opening tone.
I dont like the baby faces, but could be worse.
I see Shredder, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady and the Technodrome, so i suppose its based on the 80's cartoon in spirit, just with different art no?
Adult April with yellow jumpsuit then?
Yep, I see it. Good looking out. I glanced too quickly. Splinter, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady... the only one missing really is April.
Please let Dark Leo be an unlockable character!
Still love Raistlin, though.
Amazing! Much closer to the original 80s design.I personally prefer this kind of designs.
