Go get her, sport.
Thanks! It went great, can't wait to ask her out again.

Has RedFalco posted?
Yup, I posted yesterday.

As for my thoughts from what I've read so far:

Starsketch: The fact that Starsketch subtly said that they had the same PM as Scrafty in order to seem Town certainly seemed suspicious but at the same time I doubt Mafia would out themselves that easily.

RobotNinjaHornets: The fact that you keep defending StanleyPalmtree just seems a bit suspicious, especially when StanleyPalmtree's post was definitely suspicious.

StanleyPalmtree: His "mourning" post definitely seems like he's trying to play it off as funny, especially with the followup posts where he added a whole bunch of more puns, but I'm not buying it. So as of now if I were to vote for someone I'd lean towards him.

Fluff speculation can be fun, but it's not really beneficial, especially when it's just discussing which names will be which alignment. The only time I can really see that being relevant would be if we have a role name cop. I won't hold it against anyone for participating, but if you're not giving us anything else, it just looks like you're trying to appear active without really contributing.

Vote: Matt Attack

I was going to complain about the read lists kind of reiterating the same points, but looking through I'm realising that there's so many people who have contributed too little to really form any sort of read. Matt Attack hasn't really been in the spotlight much yet, so he gets my vote.

Is there anything in particular you'd like to ask me about? I'd be happy to give my opinion on anything that you're curious about.

This is getting way more out of hand than i expected.
I would like to point out that i had already made it clear that i would be role playing Godot well before player roles were ever handed out, back in the Mafia OT.
Beyond that i cant say much beyond that i like playing characters, getting hung up on that is only going to waste everyone's time.

Ah, ok. I didn't see that post.

Honestly, I don't find the Stanley thing very suspicious at all. I mean, what benefit would a scum Stanley get from such a play? He risks becoming suspicious in order to do.... what exactly? It would be taking a risk for no potential rewards, something I doubt a scum would do. Of course, since he apparently said he would role play, suddenly not doing that could also come over as suspicious, so that could have forced him to do it even if he is scum. But that would also force him to do it if he is town or neutral. So it really tells us very little about his alignment.

Also, Sorian, I think you missed squidy his vote on me?

Thanks for clarifying! I had a feeling it was just role play, but it still came off as weird.

I really wish I had more to say, but the only thing weird I've noticed lately was people singling people out for singling people out for singling people out!

I have no idea who I'd vote for, but I'm away from GAF until late tomorrow, and a No Kill's usually a poor choice. I'll have a vote by tonight, but nobody's particularly standing out. I mean, the more aggressive players, maybe, but me mistaking their typically pro-town attacks as scummy has gotten us in hot water before.

So no new opinions besides STILL wanting Edge to say why he singled out who he did among other bs early votes, but I just wanna say:

A. I'm possibly drunk
B. I played Avalon just now for the first time.
C. I was evil.
D. I won.
E. I knew who Merlin was.

Which I did.

Interesting. Because I asked why you voted for a particular person. Huh. The other times people said they were going to vote for them because of "shits n giggles" but this was the first one that caught my eye of suspicion.

Go home, you're drunk.

Anyway, Kalor: what's the deal with the vote on Chthulu?

I just wanted to see how they would react to my vote. I'm not sure what to think about the fact that they responded by voting for me. They are a new player so I was expecting that response but I could go both ways in terms of their alignment based off it.

I'll unvote for now since I have no intention of lynching them today.

Any reason why after hipster pretty quickly did his OMGUS reaction vote you didn't react on it at all, only now after Starsketch directly asked you specifically?

I meant to when I saw it but had forgotten about it until Starsketch asked about it.

Or........

A post made to be purposely defensive to see who would try to jump on it to try to claim it seemed scummy.

Not really buying it. I don't like your initial response to me because I outright gave you a better reason you could have used for voting in my post, but it also didn't read to me like you were trying to be overly defensive.

Why unvote instead of poking someone else?

Occasional poking it a good way for scum to look like they're trying

I know i wasn't being overly defensive, but someone still tried to use that to say i was being overly defensive and said I was scummy. Explained it. That lead to doubt (BL), more doubt (SquidyJ), and a vote for me (Corn).

Or alternatively, why the only post you've responded to since your read list was my vote on you.
Not true, was a short post, but a post nonetheless. As I pointed out, I'm not seeing what others are seeing in some of these posts. Only thing I've noticed is that Stanley is squirming about roleplayin or something and some of his posts seem filler.

I see barrylocke didnt bother to respond to TWE's post

But responded to me

Easy to claim now ;)

This overly enthusiastic scum hunting could be a scum cover for Corn.

Kind of confusing since I was quoting myself, but that was meant to be directed at Matt Attack

COURT IS IN SESSION

I hereby call EzekielRAGE to the stand.

CrimsonFist called Ezekiel out on his vote. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=195399179&postcount=388

Ezekiel responded in an extremely defensive way. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=195418808&postcount=395

I believe that this sort of defensive response is more indicative of scum than of town. I said as much. Ezekiel responded like this:

Or........

A post made to be purposely defensive to see who would try to jump on it to try to claim it seemed scummy.

Now quite frankly, I think that's an entire load of bullshit. I don't buy it.

But this is the sort of lie scum would do in my opinion.

If you were town, you could easily explain away your defensive nature. "I'm town, and people think I'm scum. That pissed me off." The problem is that the truth in this case is admitting to anti-town behavior. And pulling a "I'm town, trust me bro" line. The truth looks damning. Scum never wants to look bad. Ezekiel I think understood that. So he scrambled and looked for a lie. And that lie is what he came up with. A way to try to spin his defensiveness as some sort of pro-town gambit.

I'm personally feeling confident that Ezekiel may be scum. I'd like everyone, if possible, to weigh in on this. Because if he is scum, the opinions we get from everyone could be very valuable evidence in future cases.

I know i wasn't being overly defensive, but someone still tried to use that to say i was being overly defensive and said I was scummy. Explained it. That lead to doubt (BL), more doubt (SquidyJ), and a vote for me (Corn).

OBJECTION!

So if you disagreed that you were overly defensive, why did you not argue that? Instead you basically responded "maybe I was being overly defensive on purpose."

I didn't find Ezekel his relatively late RNG vote to be that suspicious, even though it was a bit weird that he didn't really had anything to say after reading over the thread, there were a couple of things he could have commented on.

His reaction on the suspicion was a bit aggressive, I don't really agree with reacting so aggressively against some suspicion, it is day one, getting suspicion on yourself as town could be a good thing if that gets people talking.

His sudden claim that it may be a gamble to provoke reactions is bullshit though. If that was really his plan, you don't just announce that after getting like 1 reaction, you will wait a bit to see how more people react.

Outside of him defending himself, he hasn't really talked about much. He given some small nuggets here and there "I don't read things between lines", "CornBro scumhunting could be a scum cover". Well, tell us more about those things! What do you think about people that DO read things between the lines? Is your CornBro suggestion just a small suggestion, or do you really suspect him? Gives us more to judge you by except just you defending yourself.

All this seems a little overdramatic for someone who really doesn't have any evidence other than not liking my reasons behind what I did. Seemed like a good play to me. What seems extremely aggressive to you didn't seem that way to me or Crimson. He also made this overdramatic play after I made his this post

This overly enthusiastic scum hunting could be a scum cover for Corn.

Why didn't he come with this *court* thing when he placed his vote for me? He only did so after I pointed out the chance the scum hunting could be a cover, he also didnt bother to respond to it at all. But he had to see it since he quoted a message from that post.

Interesting that you're trying to spin this into a case against Corn, Ezekel. I said it didn't seem like it was trying to be over defensive in a way that I might expect if it was some gambit. It was still defensive, and something worth calling you out on.

Right. Fair enough if you think he wasn't being overly defensive. I thought that, so I said something.

His response was to paint it as a gambit, not to argue with me about how defensive/aggressive he was being.

I'm just going off of what I was reading from his posting. Also what else is there to say? I've answered most of what his argument is based on, he and others just didnt like my reasoning for doing what I did, just like roleclaiming Archer. CB also still hasn't responded to it.

Could've let it "cook" longer? Eh
Extremely defensive as CB put it? Not at all.

Was this quoted post a lie? Or do you disagree about the degree of defensiveness?

EzekelRAGE would be a good topic. I'd like to hear a few more thoughts on that one in general.
Or alternatively, why the only post you've responded to since your read list was my vote on you.

I'll answer both. First, EzekielRAGE. My scum radar isn't flying off the charts or anything but, the RNG vote coupled with his explanation for his supposed bait were not a good look for him. At that point, I definitely wouldn't have been convinced enough to vote for him. The exchange on this page though has been pretty weird though- I'm surprised to see him double down on his bait claim, so I'm very much interested in seeing where this goes.

As to why I only responded to your vote against me, I don't really think that's very odd. For starters, you're the only one who's directly addressed me since then, so of course I'd respond to you. Beyond that, there hasn't really been that much I've felt I urgently needed to comment on. Between my previous two posts, there have only been two situations that have really caught my eye- EziekielRage's vote and CB's problems with Stanley's word choices.

In the former case, I didn't have much to add. People got on Ezekiel's case, Ezekiel claimed it was bait, etc. I agree that it was pretty weird but I didn't want to immediately join the dog pile so I decided to let it play out to see if I would continue to feel as I did. In retrospect I should have left a comment there just to let you all know how I felt about the situation. In the latter case, I didn't feel like it merited any comment from me, because I thought it was a pretty unconvincing case. I'll keep it in the back of my mind while observing Stanley's behavior, but it's not good enough for me to think he's scum yet.

Ok... you say you weren't being extremely defensive. Why didn't you say that in this post?

Was this quoted post a lie? Or do you disagree about the degree of defensiveness?

I obviously disagree about the degree of defensiveness. Your making it seem like I cursed, called Crimson out his name or something. Making a mountain out of a molehill.

this is an argument I could have believed but instead you started with "it was a gambit guys, lol" which has seriously damaged your credibility.

But you still insist it was a gambit, right?
Why wouldnt I? Was a mistake, no need on trying to backtrack on it.

"Cook" it longer? There was literally a single response to your post before you reacted to that response with: "maybe it is a gambit!".
Whichi is why I said I shouldve let it cook longer. So what was the purpose of this post?

Fuck I forgot how mental these things immediately started going after the first game

I'm gonna have something to eat, and then do some thinking about stuff. In the meantime here's a picture I made for AC that I'd forgotten about:
