I'm not a comics person, I know a good chunk of superficial information, but that's about it. I don't know which Lantern would be a better fit for him, but I just see him as being one of them and showing up in Justice League.
EDIT: Still don't see Shazam happening as much as it pains a good number of people here. I think WB needs to seriously consider approaching the Rock about John Stewart, especially if we have one or more Lanterns showing up in Justice League. It's a quick in because he can cameo in movies until his schedule clears up - hopefully in time for Green Lantern Corps.

Yeah there was like an interview he gave at least 5 years prior on MTV if I recall and a load of celebs were asked what comic characters they'd play and he said Gambit.

I can't believe this was cut. One of the biggest complaints about MoS was people feeling like Superman didn't care about the aftermath of shit he was involved in. So you film a scene of him in front of Capitol Hill after it was blown to hell with the medical team (which one assumes he is helping with injured survivors) and you fucking cut it?? WHY????
Yea that doesn't make any sense and the only reason I can think of it was cut just to get the time down.

I have a feeling we're going to be saying this about a lot of the new scenes. I know a new cut of the film won't fix every issue, but I do think it'll help a lot.

The studio that brought us the LOTR trilogy, long ass hobbit movies, Dark Knight rises which was 2 hours 45 minutes, but no, Batman v Superman cannot be 3 hours, the tent pole movie to start their universe needs to be cut to hell and back.
If the Ultimate cut is really better i´ll be happy for the movie itself and for me for having a better movie, but also pissed at the same time at this stupid decision.
Well, if you run that through the "in reality" filter it's likely Barry and Vic are buds and so maybe we'll catch a scene of Cyborg helping Flash out in some cool action shot. Not that Flash is a dual hero movie.
No idea if this is legit but...
BvS UC possibly getting a 4 week run in the theaters.

Humoring his rumor, Cyborg and Flash are the two youths of the JL. Want to say Deb Snyder talked about their interactions at one point. And there's the common ground of two heroes born from accidents. Thematically, it works. From a pure fun spectacle stance, the Flash and GL buddy film got me more excited.
A ton of scenes in the trailer were scenes that should not have been cut over the Knightmare scene.

Didn't one of the 4chan rumors state Barry and Vic went to high school together and are friends in Justice League? Also, don't forget the initial rumors when BvS was announced at SDCC had Flash teaming with Green Lantern in the Flash movie IIRC.

I was just thinking of it in opposite terms... Flash can carry a movie, but Cyborg is gonna need a leg up. Having him costar in Flash isn't the worst idea in the world.
Don't like it because Flash's buddy should be Hal Jordan
But I like it especially if Cyborg is the more serious of the two.
Just thinking about this. Doesn't hurt to get him introduced in a hopefully good Flash movie to get people familiar with him.
The Flash movie i'd assume is by and large a Flash movie. If that report is to be believed. It doesn't hurt that Cyborg shows up.

Isn't Batman showing up in Suicide Squad? We see him on top of the Joker's car in the trailer.
