Yeah, i get ya. Only thing that'll hurt worse is it just being remasters. I'd love a Ratchet style reboot though.
What does the Crash crowd think about complete graphical overhauls of 1, 2, and 3? No new games, but the revitalized old ones available in a collection for $30 or $40. Would that be substantially more disappointing than a Ratchet & Clank-style remake? Obviously a new game in the style of the old ones is the first choice for most of you, but what would your reaction to remasters or remakes be?

I'd much rather have a proper remaster of 1-3 + CTR than a new Crash Bandicoot game. If its not by Naughty Dog's old team, I'm not interested for a new game.

I'd personally prefer this, especially if it also included the original versions of the games. I have no confidence in a new Crash game in 2016 being something I'd want to play.

I'm surprised Sony didn't save that trailer for E3...
And FFXII as well.
I'd like to think it's because they weren't 'big' enough to make the conference...
I imagine we'll see deeper gameplay at E3. They'll probably show off some stuff that gives a sense of the crafting and roleplaying systems.
I bet we get an on-stage demo of the game running on Neo. The game seems too big to Sony for them to completely ignore it on-stage. They might be saving it for PGW/PSX after some other stuff gets released to really get the hype train rolling on this one, but surely it makes some sort of appearance, at least.
Last year The Nathan Drake collection wasn't big enough to be shown at the Conference which surprised me.
Horizon is probably still going to get some time because its one of their biggest games at the moment.

Ah, late February or early March doesn't sound too bad, at least. Hopefully God Of War 4 releases about two months later, like in late April. Can't see my parents being cool with forking out money for two full priced retail games.

I remember last year that Sony was dropping a bunch of announcements before E3 and people were complaining about how they should have saved them for the conference and how they wouldn't have much to show. It was totally the opposite lol.

Nice trailer and I like the cover too.
This game didn't catch my attention at first but it looks good, here's hoping it does well.
Simply amazing.
And if they are dropping this trailer now, what will they show on E3? Another gameplay demo?
Yeah probably a lengthy stage demo.

I bet we get an on stage gameplay segment. This trailer was just too soften the blow of the delay. Imagine if they said coming Feb 2017 after the gameplay segment, people would mostly be talking about the delay and not the awesome gameplay we just saw.

They wanted to announce the delay before their conference. And having a nice trailer helps soften the blow.
Plus I'm convinced a large portion of Sony's show will be devoted to VR. I think that's less of a factor for this particular game though, as I'm sure there will be a live demo for it .

It will be 50% VR. At a minimum. It isn't THAT hard to show, Valve did a great job with their Vive trailer.

VR is going to be a very, very large focus. It launches this October. They'll find ways to show it off.

I'd adjust your expectations. I'd be shocked if it's a not a major focus.
This I doubt. I'm not expecting an hour devoted to VR. I'm thinking 30+ minutes.
Wanna make a bet? O/U 50% of show time dedicated to VR.
Loved that moment in the trailer, I'm guessing that guy is based on the Suchomimus/Spinossaurus.

Very cool, just got done listening to this. I'm guessing the Bethesda remaster could be Skyrim which if is the case then I'm down! Myself and my friends have been wanting this just because of the insane amount of time put in on the 360 version...I still never beat the main story. lol
That Rockstar question though. lol shinobi either didn't know or really didn't want to ruin any surprises. I guess we'll see...lol

the premise of the game is really just robot animals really, not necessarily dinosaurs. I wouldn't be surprised if that is just straight up robot crocodile instead of some sort of Dino.
