It has more to do with individual games, so it's too early to tell. For SFV, that would highly depend on season 2(what get fixed/changed) and the state of CPT next year, GGXrd will get less entrants unless another anime game show up at EVO. Injustice 2 probably could get more than what MKX got this year, while UMVC3, if it makes it again, will get less numbers. KoFXIV could at least get comparable numbers to Tekkeb 7. Tekken 7 should get more after console release, would be silly if it didn't.

For Smash it depend on wither the Smash community remain salty about not getting the same privileges they get at Smash only events until next year, I guess. Don't see Pokken making it again.

There's a trend of the most current mainline SF gaining entrants every evo, but I really wonder if year 2 for SFV will end that. 5.1K is a lot of entrants, and I can see folks dropping off tbh.

I don't think SF5's growth is sustainable. I expect lots of drops next year, for the game to normalize, and potentially grow from that base.

KI's great. It's the only fighting game right now I can play for a couple of hours, and not be mad the whole time because the online isn't a pile of fucking shit.
