Would consider it if it had USB ports on the back, but no.
I really, really hope the NEO will have that.
Makes no sense to me.
This, basically.

I'm always fascinated by Sony's ability to shrink their electronics. They are doing some amazing work there.
The two things I care about are:
1. How is the noise
2. How is the wireless?
If its exactly like the base model, this is a pointless upgrade to me.
Damn I like itWith the power LED lit, standing vertically it should look like this.
Someone explain the lack of no optical audio to me?
Sony are masters of hardware, and MS are masters of software. Though MS did great work with the XB1 S.
You've tried it firsthand? :OSame as the OG. Maybe slightly quieter just because a small process node normally generates less heat.
Same as the OG.
Temper your expectations. Take one look at the case and that will tell you how much effort they are putting into this.
This is a cheaply made, cheap PS4. If you want improvements, buy a Neo. It is what it is.

Sony must be pissed...
AFAICT, this is just a PS4 shrunk down to 16nm

It's not the '90s.
It's not the '90s.
They also dropped zip disc support.
Looks great in this video, especially held vertical. There's a screw thread for a new vertical stand.
Because history has told us that gamers love being forced to let go of the past and move into the future.
This looks fantastic. Not sure why people don't like it.
It's better looking than the original model.
Gamers like improvements. Microsoft tried to hide downgrades by calling them improvements, like forced always online, and no one fell for it because we are not retards.

Looks very good, holding out for the neo though.
Which makes me wonder... maybe the Sony Conf in September will be the slim reveal and not the neo
Seems more and more like a viral marketing instead of a real leak.

Sony are not inviting press from all over the world just to announce this.
The Slim will take up the first 10 minutes and everything else will be Neo.
It's a downgrade but the point is that the Slim isn't made for the users that already have a PS4, is for who haven't already bought one.And removing something that evidently a lot of people here are using isn't a downgrade?
PS4 has optical audio out. IIRC it was not made in the 90's.

This looks awesome. If the wait for Neo is going to be a longer one, I will get this, slam a 1TB SSD into it and play so much Destiny.Looks great in this video, especially held vertical. There's a screw thread for a new vertical stand.

Of course it's real lolSo is this real o not? Are we getting all the leaks from the same person or are there multiple leaks? Anyone talked about price?

It's a weird decision for sure, especially because is gonna kill the third party peripherals.
As someone who has used windows and Xbox I'm inclined to disagree. If anything they've proven their hardware chops with surface which usually always have software complaints.
And xb1 dash is worse and slower than ps4.
They've always done great hardware with few exceptions like rrod 360.
